Use ShoutUp! when you need to contact or alert someone whose phone is muted or on low ringtone volume (they must have ShoutUp! installed on their phone).
Sound an alert, unmute or turn the ringtone sound to maximum on any phone that has ShoutUp! installed - all remotely from another phone. Just send an SMS text message with an unique password to the phone running ShoutUp!. You can also play a loud sound to attract attention.
The other phone does not need ShoutUp! installed, it just sends an SMS text message to the phone with ShoutUp! installed.

How it works
Load the ShoutUp!app on your own, spouse's or a colleague, relative or friend's phone and give it an unique password. When you want to attract their attention or they keep their phone muted or on low volume, just send an SMS text message with the password you've chosen to their phone. ShoutUp! will either make a noise to attract attention or unmute the phone, depending on the command you send.
Great for husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, employees, colleagues or anyone you may need to contact urgently.
Why it's safe to give others access to ShoutUp!
ShoutUp! only permits the remote user to unmute the sound on your phone or send you an alert sound. This is unlike other apps that also give another person access to potentially disastrous functions - like locking the phone, erasing all your data or letting them know where you are (you may not want that!)
What is the difference between the Pro and Lite versions?
The only difference is that the Lite version has adverts and the Pro version does not. We strongly recommend trying ShoutUp! Lite first on your device to make sure it works correctly (not all Android devices are the same or 100% compatible).

I loaded this app on my Android phone because I often forget to unmute after meetings causing frustration when anyone tries to call me. Now my wife can unmute my phone from her phone with a password I've set and then phone me - works really well and is reliable. What I really like is that the app doesn't tell her where I am or accidentally wipe the data on my phone like some apps do. Now that I've tried it, I think I'll upgrade to the Pro version to get rid of the adverts.

Mislaid my phone yesterday when it was on mute. It fell down into the cushions of my sofa and I saved myself hours of frustration when I found it again using this app. It works!

In a 2 story house with garage it's hard to find phone, especially if it's muted or low volume. The alert sound is loud! Just works and is well thought out and executed.
