Top Notch......the Ixquick team has put together a solid, no- nonsense search engine that delivers on its promise. There's no angle here, no trap, no hidden clause at the bottom of the page that's been microscopically writen so you wont notice it. Its straight forward, honest and you really feel that the people who put this all together.....truly did it because they simply lost trust in the internet and they felt like the puplic had as well. I trust Ixquick..........and that's saying a lot. Peace

I I dislike advertisements while I'm searching for products online. With this app I don't have to worry about getting pop ups or advertisements about similar products that I searched or purchased. Secondly everyone has a right to research the internet in private.i would hate to have a librarian follow me around in the library taking note of what I researched, checked out or read there.

If you don't value what this search engine does for you, you haven't been paying attention. Privacy and security have become primary concerns for many people who spend time on the Internet. I recently discovered this app for Android and I am thrilled. I gladly give them 5 stars and the full "BOO YAH WOO WOO".

Constitutional laws are being broken every day and it's all in the name of what is call Justice. No one's aware and no one cares until it touches them. When that happens you'll be just like that guy in this picture. Make sure your rights are protected by using protected search browsers.

Repeating last guys remarks, but they did deliver and continue to deliver exactly what they promised. With ixquick I don't receive random solicitors emailing me after I search for something using the ixquick app. Unlike micro-bing-soft.

This app does, at the very least, give you the feeling that it's very private. I have no idea if it works as it claims it will. How do I know if a browser is more private than the other ones? Idk

I get quick responses with fresh results that aren't weighted or influenced by prior activity or what someone thinks I'm looking for. It was getting more and more difficult to find information that contrasted or contradicted prior searches or activity. I will check back after a bit of usage to update my review.

I used to LOVE this app, but today, it has been nothing but errors....errors and more errors! The Error notice comes up and states that the app has stopped working AGAIN!!!

I read at length about this app and found similar good reviews elsewhere. A very important issue may I stress. Ixquick please answer: ****I know vpn runs through encrypted channel, more CRITICAL is preventing DNS leaks at either end of tunnel, I read nothing re preventing DNS leaks of all our info and data is VERY VERY !! dangerous. No 'kill switch' on this vpn, you say to hit home but we would be unaware if our data was leaking then too. Please reply re this critical concern. Thanks v much.

I use this app because the ones who created it are have good principles and the searches have excellent. I appreciate your passion. I appreciate the long hours it took to create this. It's wonderful and one of a kind. I recommend this app and website to anyone who nodded in agreement when they were reading​ the description​.

It glitches and shuts off as soon as I start typing. This happens at least 75% of the time!

When using Google you are sacrificing your security. Think of it this way. Using google is like allowing a stranger to walk around your house at night, as long as they don't touch.

I've used IXQUICK for a couple of years with no problem on my windows PC but have found it is very glitchy in android. Hope you guys work out the bugs.

Reverts to Start page search, which now uses Go-Ogle algorithms, so you see what Go-Ogle wants you to see. Private but biased.

I use this exclusive instead of chrome, Opera. Mozilla, etc for all my online searchs. Privacy online without collecting any info on you or you computer. Simply the best if you don't want your info collected. I LOVE THIS INTERNET ACCESS. TRUST IT. It does what it says....read the app info....

I have been using StartPage, for over 5 years and it has been Fantastic! Except when my phone broke and lost all my saved websites.

I love IXQ. I have nothing to hide but I hate others gathering my personal info. All other search engines can go away. This is top shelf. Thanks IX Quick.

I've used Ixquick for more than 10 year, now; it is the safest search engine out there, and it gives you great search choices. When doing in-depth studies, ixquick can even High light whatever search words you use to help you quickly locate important information, more quickly. I:ve u. Tsed other search engines before, but always find myself going back to good ole Ixquick.

Ixquick search is great, strong relatable and is a private search engine and if you know how to search with this app the proper way you will find you can search for things in websites you normally would not be able to or find things you searc for much easert.

In this world privacy is precious necessity. Not everyone is a criminal so we all shouldn't be hawked like terrorists...ehh who am i kidding i just like porn from time to time lmao

Hey I got this hacker ex boyfriend who's been on my tail for 5 years I can't get rid of him I'm too old to start a career in hacking so I'm hoping you guys can help. I like how this deletes everything you search after you log out but the only thing I don't like is it won't let me sign into any apps on here, for example I brought up Facebook and it will not let me sign into it what a major let down that I can't do something as simple as that due to the fact that I really like how secure this app is.

I have used a search engine on my desktop for quite a long time not because I'm searching for anything that I feel I need to hide but because I do believe what I do in the privacy of my home is nobody's goddamn business but mine a friend told me about this search engine and that's where I've been ever since these folks are absolute geniuses and right on the money you should be a free web free of spying

Decent references, but still conservative unfriendly. Google owned makes me still feel any search you do with this page results in adding to Blog's evil intent.

1st: no widget. I install and use ixquick as the default search engine all the time on my Firefox browsers (even mobile), yet I can't even get a simple widget that lets me do a direct search? 2nd: after opening the app, meaning I have already told my device I want to use the app I have to hit a button to get to the search, what a waste of time. 3rd: On browsers you offer sponsored search results which are typically relevant to the search, here you forced an ad on me before taking me to my results.

Privacy matters. And the reason you would get "ads forced on you" before your results is because they don't use trackers that follow what you do..BTW that's a good thing. -_-

Have been using it for quite a while in my browsers. For android the app is handy. If it's as secure in the background as it seems on the surface, it would deserve 7 stars.

This program rocks on cell,pc,tab or whatever privacy comes first for me hate being profiled cough Google cough !

So 3stars so i xan even see what the app does. You guys would do better to let me try it out first before rating.

ixquick in general. I've always use it in PC side of things. I uninstalled it without even trying the app, because I more or less have same functionality just setting android browser home page to the generated obfuscated url from settings menu in ixquick of PC, copying it over to the phone. By opening android browser, 1 hit hard menu key 2 settings 3 set homepage 4 option "other" and type in long address 5 rt top corner Done. Walah This allows less resources being used on my phone. ♡♡classic air theme♡♡

Note that search details and results are stored on their servers for a short time period for our own benefit. This setting is adjustable in the app. For instance results can be cleared when phone goes to sleep.

I've been using IXQuick on my computer for quite some time and it's great. Glad to now get it on my phone.

Rare that I find an application that I can not really think of some way to improve it, but this is one of those! Light on system resource use, FAST, and despite its power it is very easy to customize how You want it to search. Not to mention that it does not hammer a user with multiple obnoxious ads etc. Love the fact that it offers almost the same experience on Android as on the PC. Definitely at the Top of Our list of Must Have tools for Both Android and Windows!!
