IPVanish VPN

Using with Web root. Works great. This is by far the best VPN service you can use. People keep complaining about speeds. Yes your speed will drop using a VPN due to encryption and the added distance your data travels. And you probably should not be using a VPN if you do not know how to configure your device. Do some research before blasting this service. Ive never had a problem. If i did it lied within my device. And free VPN'S are not free. They sell your information.

I am glad that I used a gift card to subscribe because I cannot get into my account to cancel. So once card is used they won't be able to get more money from me. REALLY REALLY HAPPY THAT I DIDN'T USE REGULAR CREDIT CARD OR I WOULD NEED TO CANCEL CARD, THEREFORE STOPPING THEM FROM TAKING MONEY INDEFINITELY.

Appalling service. Nothing works. Tried on different devices. Does not connect to any server. Does not remember settings. 2 day wait for support. No sign up email. Continues to remain inactive despite clicking activation link several times. Took my money very quickly though. Not a happy customer. Awful

Just doesn't work properly anymore. It's best to just set it up manually in my settings. It doesn't hold a connection when using the app. Should run always even if I close all apps. This app isn't the greatest, and neither is the PC version. The support from this company isn't the greatest either.

There are many issues; I'll highlight a big one. Your username & password are stored in plaintext in more than one location on your device. It's shameful. Bandwidth is quite good, though.

This app used to work really well and now it doesn't connect at all on my android tablet. I paid for a year's subscription and one month in this is just junk. And the only reason I purchased it was for my tablet. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing.

I can't get this to work at McDonald's, public library, Xfinity hotspots, or most other places. It seems to only work on networks I already login with security. Works on cellular data, my home WiFi and work WiFi. Since I'm with Google fi, they'll do this for truly open WiFi anyway. Too bad I paid a year for this turd sandwich.

Installs without a problem on my Androids, Mac, and Windows devices. On my Windows 7 device I had to use a newly created profile and an older Apple iOS device a bit of work was required. Older devices like people accumulate OS system problems. Might try backing up data and doing a factory reset if you want VPN installed. No impact on speed noticed and may be improved. Time will tell.

You guys are amazing. Just wanted to know for sure if u really don't keep logs or if that's for show. Also can't cast from device (phone)when connected to service. Thanks again for an awesome vpn

Bought a 1 year subscription and it won't even connect to a single server on my phone. Tried different ports and multiple servers. Auto disconnects after trying to authenticate. Not sure what the problem is.

Works on my PC but not my device this is where I want to use it most. Cannot click OK Very annoying. I am ready to cancel this and won't be referring this app or service to anyine.

Like the others mentioned below, this does not remain connected. I cannot connect any of my Android devices using the app. I regret buying a year service.. so don't if you read this review!

Do not sign up. I signed up with my credit card for a month, and they took the money off my card, and then email and said because my location was different from that of my card, they would not give me an account. But they took my money and wont return it. Some kind of scammers they are. BEWARE

Brilliant app - works on my windows, android, and amazon devices without a problem if anyone takes their privacy seriously then IP vanish does a 5 star job and configurable but you can please everone - top notch many thanks

I have edited my previous review. I am reassured you guys that I am straight. Look, I love the Android people. They're great people, I've employed thousands of Android developers, I have a great relationship with the Android people. I'm going to do great with the Android developers, in fact a poll came out recently, I polled 25% with the Android developers; someone said if you get 25% of the Android vote, the election is over... but if I'm elected president, we are going to fire the Android developers. We have to fire the Android developers, or we won't have a IPVanish any more. We're going to fire the Android developers, and make IPVanish great again.. and the Android developers are going to pay for it.

First couple of days worked great. I Have 60 Mbps down normally... then I connect to VPN it drops to 20 Mbps max & 10 most of the time. On the same wifi network my laptop gets 60+ Mbsp while connect to VPN I'll update my rating if speeds improve

Does not auto reconnect at all anymore if connection flaps and comes back up. Settings are setup for this and regardless of TCP/UDP and any server manually picked or auto. New York servers mainly. Lololol 5.1

while the vpn servers themselves work fine, the app is poorly configured. It doesn't block IPv6 traffic and doesn't change the DNS servers you're using to its own ones.

These Jerks, nobody tells the truth anymore. $10.00 a month. BS! Use Orbot, it's FREE! This is a WASTE OF TIME!

Doesn't work with my new galaxy Tab. Turbo VPN free and it works, just compare reviews.

this drives me nuts ... updated and now no servers. get your bloody act together. I'll be looking for my cash back ... there are better free vpns out there

Connect button doesn't respond at all, worked ok on my pc but I had to reset my password every time I wanted to use it. Regret buying 3 months glad I didn't buy more.

Bought it for my PC and installed it on all my devices, works fine on all of them: 3 x Pcs 1 x laptop 1 x Macbook Pro 4 x Android Tablets 3 x Android Phones 1 x Nexus Player. Would like to see an auto connect when connected to WiFi option on the android Version.

I pay $10.00 monthly fee to my PayPal. I try getting through - nothing works. I used various passwords - nothing works. I'm locked out due too many attempts. I'm using M9X 6.0 lollipop android system.

This used to work great but no longer allows streaming for some reason. Have moved to NordVPN which works much better.

Love your app but it disconnects by itself on the Samsung S7 after a while and doesn't reconnect automatically. Cheers

Still can't connect after 2 uodates.. Wish 8 wouldn't of paid for a full year.

Excellent app and service. Got it running on multiple Android devices. Also they don't record what you do.

This has stopped connecting at all on my phone. Will be asking for a refund.

I get frequent disconnects especially with some countries where it is impossible to keep stable connection for more than a minute. I would rate it as shi.ty. But hey at least I like their user interface.

It work well for 2-3 day's and my phone started to act up and uninstalled it and now works perfectly now ,too bad glad they have money back guarantee.

I have used this VPN for years, and love the service. However the app will not connect to any servers. I have a Google pixel. Hopefully this will be updated and fixed soon. Thanks

Using in Linux and Android. Works perfect. Just wish it had auto killswitch for Linux, really want that!!
