Lottery Winner (649 Max)

At first I gave it one star.. It had some issues.. I cleared my cache/data on camera and lottery winner app and everything is working perfect so 4 star... I wish it would scan the "extra" but easy enough to manually lookup.. Using Samsung Galaxy S4

Works for me on my Samsung Tablet. It's a little sensitive to position of camera to ticket distance (see help pictures). You manually enter the date of the 649 or lotto max ticket, then snap a picture of the numbers on the ticket and it converts the pic to text and once verified by you will check for winners!

Useless garbage. Look at Washington state's app for checking their tickets. Their app scans a data matrix code. This bclc app is a confusing, outdated mess.

Absolute junk. Camera will not focus. After many tries got numbers and it says ticket not valid.

UPDATE: As of December 27, 2016 it no longer works. Like this app for group play where we play the same numbers for each draw. It saves the numbers, so no need to reenter numbers every time.

Would not work at all after many attempts, and reading the guide. Refused to capture repeatedly. Button simply doesn't work. Galaxy S5

Got a clear photo, but it fails to identify the numbers.

I tried to be steady but it turns out blurry. Will not capture when it is not. This app should also have the option of manually entering numbers if this happens.

App last updated last year. Camera orientation inverted on Nexus 5X and the numbers weren't even recognized. Manually having to crop for numbers means a poor OCR engine. Needlessly has contacts permission on.

Wont even focus the camera. When it finally does randomly it wont take the picture. Phones a bran new note 4 and the camera works great.

Doesn't work. Adware.

I found the scanner very hard to master. Had to restart many times . Other wise very accurate. I scanned a past 649 draw ticket showed I won two free play it was right. The app will show you all the draw results for the draw in question. The app is for lotto max and lotto 649 Also allows you to add players for group play and will show you estimated prizes for up coming draws .I would have gave it 5 stars had it had easier scanning. make it better -improved scanning -649 guaranteed draw check

Great app does exactly what says. Just read the instructions and it'll work every time. Good job.

Nothing Works.

Useless! Doesn't check the additional draws, only the main draw. Update : What I mean is the additional draws don't show how many of your numbers matched, even when they aren't winners. Would be nice to know.

The only flaw of this app is that it doesn't recognize combo plays or gives wrong results.

Tried every way i could think of to take picture, crop the photo, went through the help and tried everything and just keeps telling me recognition failed. Oh well have to try a different app.

Giving 5 stars. this is the only app to check by scanning for CANADA LOTTOMAX & 649 so far I know of...amazing work !!!!! keep it up. (Scanning and OCR recognition can be improved to make it perfect as it takes few times and good lighting to get it working. when I keep the ticket vertical it works better.)

Cannot enter a new ticket. It prompts for the date and type, but the "ok" is greyed out for the date and there is no way to enter the type.... After a reply from the author, I was able to "find" the lottery type button that need to be selected. Unfortunately it is 95 percent hidden by the date picker and was very hard to locate and operate.

Exellent App best I've found so far. Takes pic of your ticket then OCR's the numbers then checks your numbers and tells you if you won....even with the extra max million plays regular numbers in blue extra ones in red...best yet..Y. Z. Li anyway to get this app without the advertising? Like can we buy it without advertising? Thanks best app out there, at least for Canadian Lotterys...

Does not work on Tab IV or S III can not recognize any numbers , and suggest numbers that are not even part of the lottery. Total waste of time.

I have 2 tickets with 6 sets of numbers on each. The OCR is horrible, so I had to break it down into 4 separate 'tickets' to get it to scan. Then I have to go into each ticket separately to check if it won. I would like to be able to merge all my tickets into one, so I can check all 12 sets at once. Or just let me type the numbers in - it would be quicker than trying to get the OCR to work! Edit: if I try to scan all 6 rows, I get an error saying it was unable to do the OCR at all, so editing character by character doesn't help. And even if it did, I'm still stuck with two sets of 6 rows rather than one set of 12.

App works good. You need to make sure there is sufficient lighting and you are directly above the ticket. Using a piece of white paper under the ticket helps a great deal. The addition of a feature to scan the bar code would be a great addition.

Installed on my Note 2. Took 10 attempts to even to get it to capture the numbers. Then it errored out while checking the numbers. Way too buggy.

Number OCR 100% correct. Cool!
