All other screen off apps lock the device as well. Perfect for my use.

Buying the paid version. My only complaint was needing to close the screen off app often times, but it does what it suppose to.

This is the first soft power button I've found that doesn't deactivate the the fingerprint unlock sensor on the Samsung s7 edge. And I've tried quite a few. Many of you know what I'm talking about!

Finally an app that turn off the screen but does not lock the phone!!!, seems to be GREAT, I am testing and I ll buy it in the next days.

Does exactly what it says - turns the screen off. Other apps turn the screen off and lock the phone - but this one does not auto-lock, which is very nice, because on Marshmallow, with the 'stay unlocked when a trusted device is connected' this app does not interfere with that. The phone will auto-lock shortly after the screen is off (using the power button or this app) if my trusted device is not connected. This app is a true replacement for the power button to quickly turn off the phone display and not interfere with the auto-lock settings in Android. It will be a pleasure to pay the small price to purchase the app. I also like that the trial is not loaded with ads - zero ads while testing this out. Thank you for that!

One of the few screen off apps that doesn't also lock the screen. Thanks. Would like a higher res widget and colour choice, since it's sat on my home screen I'd like control of that. Also screen fades out rather than an instant off - could you make an option for that?

I have long been looking for an app that turns the screen off without locking the phone. You would think there were many competing apps out there doing what this one does. But this is the first one I find since I started on Android about a year ago. Thank you so much. The only thing I regret is that you can't float the widget. Nevertheless, I'll be buying the paid version.

It should put the screen in the sleep mode, but not to lock it. The screen should wake up by click on it without any buttons!

It blacked my screen out. But my device was still on. It just cleared my display. Then it maybe shut off or my lights finally go out. Either way, I will continue to look. LTE Galaxy S3

Wasted battery poor app no real point as it only darkens the screen and does not work

Shuts off the screen but takes 4-5 seconds to lock the screen.

Turns off main part of screen, but not the bottom row of keys. Not what I was looking for.

I've been looking for an App that would turn my screen off without locking... Finally, this one does it! Just what I wanted!

Takes five seconds for it to switch off the screen. HTC Hero

Slow. But it does work on HTC Rezound with ICS.

Excellent...turning screen off is immediate ..other Alps may have some latency so if you touch screen it would turn on again

Works alright but has some issues: It doesn't lock the screen instantly: the soft keys still lights and you can still unlock the phone by swiping on the screen until the soft keys turn off automatically after the delay then the phone is truly locked. Additionally, it does not lock the screen (can still be unlocked by touching the screen) when some programs are running, for example, when on call using Skype. Tested on galaxy S3. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Simply brilliant. This app does NOT stay resident in RAM like so many of the free apps do. This app shuts off the screen FASTER than any free app I have tested. Works great with No Lock. I am buying the full version. Keep up the good work Iwashi Soft ! Thanks.
