I.V.S.A. is the International Veterinary Students’ Association. It was founded in 1951 in Utrecht, Holland. It is represented in 51 countries worldwide.
Greece constitutes an active member of this association since 1992. In 1994,the local chapter of Thessaloniki was certified by the Court as a recognised Association. Any student of the School of Veterinary Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, can become a member of I.V.S.A. Thessaloniki.
