Flashlight

In a time of ads and in-app-purchases it feels loberatong tp try an app that only: 1) has a name and icon. 2) has a one-click flashlight toggle function. The only thing I miss is an add-on for Tasker/Locale, so we can write flashlight tasks. Reccommended! 4/5

I thought all flashlight apps sucked. This one surprised me. There is no UI, and it works while screen is off. Yaassss! No crazy permissions. The last one I looked at wanted to know my browsing history. Sorry if your phone kills the app in the background. My Moto X'13 doesn't.

I've been using this app for a very long time. Its one of my favourites. But with the be lollipop update. I'm sorry to say that I won't be needing this anymore. Goodbye friend. And thanks for all the apps.

Unlike the other flashlight apps, this one's icon is simple and not too weird for the app drawer and it doesn't feature ads! It may not open an app but it works just as well.

Simple. Stable. One click and body there be light!! Crashes my live wallpaper because it uses the camera but I don't know if that can be fixed.

My son turned me on to this critter. No bullshit...touch the lightning icon, light (torch) on. Touch the icon again, light off. In apps or on a home screen. No fuss, no muss. No adds. No hook. Everything that's right with innovation. I suppose there could be something nefarious in here, but wow, what a refreshing change.

Wow, for my current phone, this flashlight app works super fast. I timed its delay from screen tap to LED light on, 0.289 seconds, or 1/3 seconds fast. Its just a simple Camera LED flashlight app, tap on, tap off, but very fast. I want to try this on my other phones. Tested on LGMS345 10f, 5.1.1 , not rooted yet, mpcs.

I was looking so long for a simple flashlight app that didn't need a ton of permissions or have a bunch of ads or was huge or slow or had some god awful ui or made the screen light up too. It was very frustrating. So glad I found this. I see no need to ever dl another flashlight app again. THANK YOU

Can u plz make a glowing icon when we use the flashlight? Cuz during daytime I mistakenly press it & don't notice it.... Ty

For some reason the light will turn off after 5 seconds, stay off for about 2 then turn back on and (seemingly) will stay on. Not sure if it's just my phone but would like a fix of possible, please!

This app illustrates, exposes, how any other flashlight app which claims to need more permissions is exploiting your ignorance and privacy. Thank you developer for having the integrity to keep this clean.

the idea is great that the torch can be on while doing other things but it turns itself off and on of its own accord! :-(

I am looking for this type of app. Widget consumes the memory but i think shortcut doesn't.

an icon. tap it to activate flashlight. tap it again to turn it off. aw yisss. didn't work on galaxy chat tho

Absolutely perfect... Simple. Touch the icon, light turns on. Doesn't get any better than that

I hate how this app shuts itself off! I would like to determine when to turn it off not the app.

Please make an option for a lock screen widget. It would be great if I could use this like Dashlight without unlocking. I currently have two flashlight apps because of this! If you want an aesthetically pleasing icon with minimal UI and no ads, this is the app.

Functionality is exactly what I want, but it's too slow. Used in my floating toolbox.

It's an application which brings you back home after it turns the light on. Delay.

I have been searching every torch app for days for one like this. Simple on/off with one press and is a shortcut rather than a widget so i can put it into a folder on my home screen. Brilliant. And only need permission for the camera.

It works.. Sometimes. I've had many an instance where this flashlight has turned itself off randomly and takes me clicking it multiple times to get it to come back on thus causing a weird lag then causing it to flash obnoxiously. A little buggy but decent enough for random nightly use definitely wouldn't take this on a camping trip in lieu of an actual flashlight though

Exactly what I was looking for touch to turn it on and off don't have to open annoying pages extremely simple and perfect for what I wanted

I needed and app that would let me do a gesture for the flashlight. This was perfect for that.

Without any redundant feature- just toggles your flashlight. But with great benefit- since this is app (not widget) you can put it to dock bar.

It's just a simple flashlight app, which is exactly what it should be. Not Spyware like most other flashlight apps. Just wish the light would turn on without the slight delay on my Galaxy S5.

So simple. Have it on my Galaxy and I love how I can just tap on the app and it doesn't take me to an app but rather stay on my homscreen and cast out a powerful bright light. No ads, no waiting for an app to open up.
