This app is one of the best in its category. It doesn't even use that much of the battery. One flaw: you can't disable the notification icon on Android 5.0 or 5.1. (At least, it doesn't work.) Suggestion: Add a timer preventing the phone to lock for 15/30/60 second after unlock (I would love to have that feature!) But even in its current situation, it's a great app. Keep going! EDIT: You can disable the app notification in the Android settings.

Once this app was my favorite to turn my mobile screen automatically off. But as I update to new and latest mobiles (Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and 4), this app has giving some crash and opening problems which its developer doesn't seem to pay attention to. I think, there are much better free options available, why would user pay for an unsupported app like this?

there's a bug : I can't get rid of the service notification in notification panel. Checked and unchecked the option in settings without success. Hope the developer fixes this soon. Until then, only 3 stars!

Dev responded. Adding another star for responsiveness. Currently, cannot find a setting that will consistently turn screen on or not randomly turn it off. The concept is great. Would love to get this working on my Nexus 4 or 7.

I bought the paid version as a support to the author of free one. And I'd say I like that one more. Settings options look more simple to me. I don't need gestures. Just fix the problem with proximity sensor. P.S. Please make the notification icon to be removable, I hate that (in any application).

After cracking my screen. I replaced it. My proximity detector fails to work on my nexus 4. This app has saved me a lot of trouble. The screen no longer stays black when I make phone calls and Skype. Thanks Dev team! You saved me from buying a new phone.

Does everything I need it to do. I hate using physical buttons and this solves the problem of having to use them.

Tried nearly every "proximity/gravity" based app to turn on/off screen and liked this one enough to pay for PRO, works almost perfectly... except that every time the screen turns off, it activated the lock screen so I have to enter pass code. What a pain. I have UNCHECKED the option under app All Settings, Locks phone on screen ON but no change. Also, needs the ability to turn on/off service from the notification so can do certain activities without constantly having the screen turn off when I don't wan

I just bought it so I'm just reviewing the end user agreement - it is the least intrusive I have seen....or I wouldn't have even considered it. A similar use app "Tiny Call Confirm" asks permission TO DO exactly what you are presumably getting the app to prevent. Always read the permissions - Good going with this one!

Its a great app to replace the power button; however, this app causes interference (static) when listening to music through headphones. Fix this issue and this app will deserve 5 stars!

I LOVE this app. I can't say enough about it. It does EXACTLY what I want. NO other app does. I have a very specific combination of behaviors I want from my phone and the app provides the settings needed to achieve them, and pretty much anything else you could request of an app of this type. Very convenient to use for my z1..just love the tap to turn on and off around d phone sensor..bought dis app for the tat purpose only...hate using the power button frequently...hopefully dis doesn't drain out my battery life fast....any feedback

We will not use switch button anymore and it will keep long lasting of switch life span, if not it will damage and need to change new one, it happen to me already. So thank you very much to the developer only that sometimes it is not work as we are setting. Hope to improve more. Tqvm

Whoever will use this app, will eventually use some other app (because this app doesn't have that function) to keep the screen ON for THE CHOSEN apps. And this app would conflict with that app (keeps displaying some error messages). Though no doubt, this app does have more options than any other similar app out there. But at the same time, Jungle of options (no option is useless, though) might scare you a lot. May be developer is working on 'how to simplify so many options'.

Hi, really great app! There's only one caveat I don't seem to be able to solve no matter what settings I try: Even with Override Power Button enabled, when Flip/Cover mode is not enabled and the phone is in a pocket, then a phone call comes and I leave the phone in the pocket without taking the call, the screen stays on even when the caller hangs up. Is there a way to prevent that? Of course I could set LocksPhoneOnScreenOn, which then re-locks and, after a short timeout, switches off the screen when the caller hangs up, securing the phone in the pocket again. Unfortunately my problem is that I want to use this app in conjunction with the Password Delay Full app, which delays the actual locking of the screen for a period of time after the screen switches off. The reason is that this will allow me to switch the screen on and off frequently without having to unlock it every time, yet if I don't use the phone for a while, the screen does get locked automatically nonetheless. I need this behaviour of the phone. But of course, when I use Password Delay Full together with Proximity Screen Off Pro with the settings I outlined at the beginning, what happens when the call comes in with the phone in the pocket, I don't take the call, and the caller hangs up again is that the screen then stays on and unlocked until Password Delay Full reaches its set timeout and finally locks the phone. In my case, that could easily be fifteen minutes or so. Hope I'm making myself clear enough. Yeah I know I'm a demanding customer, haha! Maybe this is of value to you. Making this possible would be the icing on the cake. Thanks for great work in any case! PS: Sometimes stopps working, re-installing it seems to solve it, no idea why.

The app has lots of features and does everything you would need it to do. Except one important thing: I want to turn off the screen while listening to lectures and such on YouTube. However, this app pauses youtube videos when switching off the screen (even when I use 'flip cover' mode, without locking phone) . Which is a shame because another app on my Xperia z1 didn't do that. (that app is no longer in my apps list I dunno what happened to it) I really really hope that a minor update will fix this.

Android 6.0 / ignore app doesnot work you'must update to use data access of the system to view

IR blaster doesn't work if this app is running. Once it was stopped, IR worked fine again. Please fix. I love this app and would use it once this issue is resolved.

The ignore apps option doesn't work. I have put all my apps (except the launcher) in the ignore list. But the screen locks on each and every app when I use the single swipe. Please fix this.

Switch off functions works ok, does not work well the other way... screen does not come live after it is of for 10 minutes or more. Not good use of money. experimental ... not fully functional.

Does every proximity sensor activity you could ever need. Does flip - cover style actions plus so much more. Much better than the free version.

I have an HTC One and it works as described once settings are all in order.

Thankyou. I chose the Flipcover mode and set it to vibrate when switching the screen off or on and it works beautifully on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The program has a very small file size too which is appropriate and very efficient for all devices, even ones with low memory

I used the lite version before and was very satisfied so I bought the pro version to support the developer for further development of this great application. Great application.

My screen locks even when I have it set not to.

I think soon everyone will understand that lockscreen is not needed when proximity is used in a smart way. I found only this app doing it, but there are couple of limitations. Dev, please enable "override power button" without cover mode, its the unique feature on all play store, but cover mode messes all up. Also please fix landscape mode on S4.

Used it for a day and so far it hasn't missed a beat. I was worried about battery drain, but I haven't noticed at all! Very configurable, but I have left on defaults mostly. I have a galaxy s4 with the official flip cover

I have a flip cover for my phone and this app makes it so much better! Awesome app and awesome developer!

Swipes don't work though. For a workaround I have to set both on and off to cover and hold, and then set up a delay so after cover and hold off, it wouldn't turn itself back on again when cover is kept closed after turning screen off. I like the app itself so I don't have to keep pressing power button all day
