A few of the species I was looking for specifically (racoon, bald eagle, osprey, american alligator) aren't on this app. Other than that, this is a really great app! I love the multiple pictures for every species showing and explaining the variations. The search features are really nice too. However, I would like to see updates with new species added every so often, especially since I paid for it.

This is a really great app. I had little trouble with the lite version, but this full version works well and is quite a powerful tool. I have one complaint. Whenever you come back to it, it always closes and needs to be reopened; which takes a bit. I am still giving it five stars because I just don't see anything put there that is this powerful.

Does not know what animals are in which state. Elk are in AZ, but this app thinks not true. AZ has some of the largest B & C.

It would get five stars if it had ground bird tracks as well

This app is extremely helpful out in the field as well as at home. The ability to go straight to the species and learn about it is great! And the search feature is amazing...something you can't get in the books. There are numerous photos of skulls with great descriptions to help differentiate species and there are also pictures of some of the animals feet which really helps me to visualize the tracks. The app contains species specific information on gaits as well as an overview of how the different gaits are made. I highly recommend this for anyone even remotely interested in tracking to get to learn the critters in their area. It will also be an asset to the professional or citizen scientist to use out in the field in order to collect accurate data.

So pleased the Android version is now available. Just downloaded this evening and learning to navigate and explore. I'm not sure if it is a bug or feature but I have to hit the back button to get past the opening screen. Otherwise the opening screen persists without progressing to the app. I like the pull down black and white track silhouettes feature. Would be nice if they could be enlarged as some are quite small on a cellphone screen. Looking forward to regular use on local quarterly transects. Update 5/18/2015 Developer is extraordinarily responsive to comments and feedback. As I learn to navigate the tool, its power and usefulness is increasingly apparent. A must have for serious trackers.

I bought this about 2 minutes after I saw it was available for Android. The only reason it took 2 minutes is because I tripped and fell down running for my phone! I have seen this on iPhone and have been very impatiently waiting. After running it through the paces I have only one thing to say. I LOVE IT!!!!! So easy to use. It over delivers. I have 2 other wildlife tracking apps on my phone that I'll now be sending to the big phone trash can in the sky. May they rest in peace.

Just downloaded the app and started playing with it. Looks like it covers all bases, from a number of good images of tracks and additional sign, to notes and comparisons. Means I won't have to carry my big book when I'm out tracking. Only complaint so far: since there's no 'home' or 'reset' it's not immediately obvious how to get out of one species back to the full list; have to use the back arrow.

I've been waiting for this for a while and have not been disappointed. Tracks by some of the species in my region are quite rare to find (e.g,. Ringtail and Long-tailed Weasel). The app has multiple clear images of their tracks and many many others. This helps clear up confusion when looking at overlapping and partial tracks.

I had this app on the iPhone and loved it while out in the field. It's the best tool I have ever had at identifying wildlife signs and tracks and it's all on your phone! I have been waiting for this app since I moved over to Android. The developers and owner of the app are quick to fix any bugs and treat their customers beautifully. I highly recommend this app to any wildlife enthusiast!
