However,it would be better if the colors for on/off states were configurable(in particular,I personally prefer red for activated-state showing AP-symbol with no connection allowed and green for deactivated-state allowing connection;thus red for on with the AP-symbol visible and green for off w/o AP-symbol would be nice)

It's backwards,whenever the widget is on my screen and my Wi-Fi is on it says it's off and when it's off it says it's on,uninstalled.
