রমজানের পবিত্রতা রক্ষা করা এবং এর দিকে নজর দেয়া খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। কিন্তু সাধারণ কয়েকটি ভুলের কারণে অনেক ক্ষেত্রে এটি রক্ষা করা হয় না।
আমাদের দেশের মানুষের মাঝে ইসলামের প্রকৃত জ্ঞানের অভাব অত্যন্ত প্রকট। আমরা সাধারনত নির্দিষ্ট বিষয়ের উপর পড়ালেখা ছাড়াই আধা আধা ধারণার উপর ভিত্তি করে জীবন চালাই। সুস্পষ্ট দলীল প্রমাণ ছাড়াই আমরা আমাদের ‘মুরুব্বি’ বা ‘শোনা কথা’র উপর ভিত্তি করে অনেক ধর্মীয় রীতিনীতি পালন করে থাকি। আর সে বিষয়ে ভুলটা ধরিয়ে দেয়ার পরেও আমরা মানতে চাই না সেটাকে ভুল হিসাবে। আমাদের মানতে কষ্ট হয় যে এতদিন আমাদের সেই ‘মুরুব্বি’দের কথাগুলো ভুল ছিল বা আমরা যা শুনে শুনে জেনে এসেছি সেগুলো ভুল ছিল। এই কষ্ট হবার জায়গা থেকে আমরা ভুলগুলোকে সঠিক হিসাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করতে উঠে পড়ে লেগে যাই। একটার পর একটা খোড়া যুক্তি দিয়ে যাই যদিও আমাদের কাছে কোন কোরআন বা হাদীসের দলীল না থাকে। হরহামেশাই বলে থাকি “কত নতুন নতুন ফতোয়া শুনতেছি! হুজুরদের যা করলে সুবিধা হয় সে অনুযায়ী নতুন হাদীস বের করে”। যা অত্যন্ত গর্হিত ও অন্যায় কাজ। ইবাদত করছি নাকি বিদআতে নাক ডুবাচ্ছি সেটা আমরা খুব কমই অনুসন্ধান করি। অসংখ্য জাল হাদীস আর ভ্রান্ত ধারণার মাঝে সমাজ নিমজ্জিত। খুব খুব কমন প্রচলিত একটা জাল হাদীসের উল্লেখ করে মূল আলোচনায় যাব। এটা আসলে জাল হাদীসও না বরং মনিষীদের বাণী। কিন্তু আমি নিশ্চিত যে, ডজন খানেক লোক অন্তত পাওয়া যাবে যারা এটা নিয়ে অহেতুক তর্ক করবেন। কথিত হাদীসটি হচ্ছেঃ জ্ঞানার্জনের জন্য সুদূর চীন দেশ হলেও যাও।
