নির্মলেন্দু গুণ (জন্ম: জুন ২১, ১৯৪৫ (আষাঢ় ৭, ১৩৫২ বঙ্গাব্দ), কাশবন, বারহাট্টা, নেত্রকোণা) বাংলাদেশ ও বাংলা ভাষার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কবিদের একজন। বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে জনপ্রিয় কবিদেরও একজন তিনি।
মাত্র ৪ বছর বয়সে মা বীনাপনিকে হারান তিনি ৷ বারহাট্টা স্কুলে ভর্তি হন শুরুতে৷ স্কুলের পুরো নাম ছিলো করোনেশন কৃষ্ণপ্রসাদ ইন্সটিটিউট। দুই বিষয়ে লেটারসহ মেট্রিক পরীক্ষায় প্রথম বিভাগ পান ১৯৬২ সালে৷ মাত্র ৩ জন প্রথম বিভাগ পেয়েছিল স্কুল থেকে৷ বাবা তাঁর মাথায় হাত রেখে বলেছিলেন- “ কৃষ্ণ কৃপাহি কেবলম। মেট্রিক পরীক্ষার আগেই নেত্রকোণা থেকে প্রকাশিত ‘উত্তর আকাশ’ পত্রিকায় প্রকাশিত হয় নির্মলেন্দু প্রকাশ গুণের প্রথম কবিতা ‘নতুন কান্ডারী’৷ Nirmalendu Goon (born June 1, 1945 (Ashar 7, 1352 BS), kasabana, barhatta, Netrakona) important poets of Bangladesh and the Bengali language.
