Downloaded the new app. Synced up and lost connection over and over. This toy is heading to the dumpster. Along with the "new" app.

So hard to find this app blocked on phone because not in us store

Wi-Fli helicopter won't work at all. I've tried several apps

If you sell a product and make an app the ratings go together. 2 minute run time for a 30 to 45 min charge is crap. The controles on the app are only ok. The thumb dribe is too small for phones. Sometimes connection is difficlt to make. Deleting app and returning copter to store. Telling store of lousy run time as neither box or advertising say anything about a 3min run time.

Sucks says it works with androids 2.1-2.3 well it dont. So what I gotta buy an iPhone to use this ain't gonna happen.

Throttle got stuck all the way up and wouldn't let me drag down. Helicopter got stuck in a tree and didn't stop even after exiting the app. Was of my money

I'm running htc aspire and all it does is crash even when just trying to enter demo mode whatever you do do not download this update

I have NEVER written a review before, but thought I had to for this. At first I could not get it to work (user error!) I didn't read the directions. I was under the impression you hit connect and it connects. No, you have to manually sync it with wifi channel immediately after turning the helicopter on. Settings>wifi>connect. Just like reg wifi. People would have thought I was totally nuts 10 years ago. BTW, the only reason I bought the helicopter.... on sale at Target, $30. App works flawless. A++

This thing is cool, but they could've made the UI a little bit better.

I don't unstand why they updated this into something crappier than before. For those who want an older version, there are ways of getting it, just need to know where to look.

Anyone know where I can download the tablet version of this app for the Kindle Fire? Works great on my HTC Sensation but can't access the Market on my Kindle Fire :(

Like the way the app is set up but the directional pad should be a little bigger hard to stay in such a small circle

HTC Sensation. App runs well. Copter flies OK. About what I expect for the price. I found the acceleromter mode to be easier than the touch pad mode. You need to dial in some trim. Not enough granularity in the throttle, hard to hold a hover. Other reviewers need to RTFM. However, the "airplane mode" guidance in the manual is bogus since that disables wifi on android devices. You need to disable your cellular radio/APN, and that's not possible on a un-rooted device. Copter run-time on battery has nothing to do with this app, since the app works when you use a brain the one star reviews based on a short run time are just silly. Want an electric copter with serious hang-time? Spend serious money.

Works great, you just have to connect to the helicopters wi fi. It has its own wifi built in

I did everything correctly, thru the phone I found Helicopters SSID and got the two in sync BUT when I launch app it goes to "force close" Everytime, same w/Demo. Can anyone help? Thx PIA

Not recommend for Samsung Mesmerize. Touch screen locks up. But helicopter keeps going. Not very safe. By the way airplane mode kills all radio frequency signals so no phone, no Bluetooth, and no wifi.

Phone as TX works great with this heli. For what I paid, its awesome. Indoor and outdoor flying, about 5 min fly time with a 45 min charge...just wish I could get more batteries for the bird. Update brings a great looking UI upgrade.

Battery time is bad and controls are ok. The manual says 3-5 min runtime for 30-60 mins charge. Bigger the phone screen, better the controls. On my droid 2 I CAN turn on airplane mode and wifi

For a toy it works pretty good......Took a few to figure things out,but all in all not bad. I got my 60.00$ (Price of toy) the first time out. app. works, It is better than other Heli, toys iv tried in past

You need 30 to 60 minutes of charging for 5 minutes!!? And you cant even get a better battery for it!? Stupid not even worth it!

Runs well on my touchpad with Droid...as well as my droidx.

If i had the option i would buy one of these for EVERY of my friends. This is also my first review but for this one i just had to make one 5 stars all the way

My phone won't connect to the helicopter! Piece of junk. ..........

I purchased this helicopter after buying a HELO TC, then returning it to exchange it for another HELO TC, and finally tried a different one (this one). The HELO TC would not even connect to the phone. After trying 2 friends Android phones I tested it on someone's iPhone, and what do ya know, it worked. Seeing as I don't have a POS iPhone, I ditched the HELO TC JUNK and tried this out (this one was also $10 less). In comparison to the HELO TC, this bird actually works on android devices and performs admirably. Battery life is short, but that's expected. A few small modifications to the heli to reduce weight really helps get it off the ground and makes it slightly more mobile & quick. - I would also recommend you invest in another battery to replace the one that's built into it. If you remove some things that aren't necessary and reduce the weight you can get an 850 MaH battery that will extend flight times to about 8-10 minutes (in my case). If you choose to do this, make sure you know how to fly it well before making the modifications as it will fly slightly differently. - If flight time is ok for you, reducing weight only improves mobility! :D

I like it but so hard to control I keep hitting trees and losing conection also it needs a hight level because the one it has now only controls speed but it works and its better than all the airhogs I have.

Someone please tell me how i can get the first version back. The one with the ske blue theme .if you havent done the update dont. When you try to neg trim. The helecopter goes full power up and spins out of control.

Prior to update it worked perfect! It seems now its unable to multi touch or something. Horrible and unusable....don't update!

The joystick mode does not work on my Razr or Archos tablet. The stick only moves fotward. The screen is ugly. Airplane mode won't work as ssuggested since wifi gets disabled. Needs a better app like the one on the iPhone!

Use to be able to fly my copter but new one doesn't even connect what a bunch of crap

With this version for one flight I lost connection twice. App closed unexpected. Think the joystick is too close to fn buttons of the phone.

Works great on my sgs2.....luv this thing

After update my heli wont fly forward. It turns and goes up down and backwards please fix i paid 60 bucks and now its useless
