Trident Control

Just recently got this from my Dad though it took me a bit to get the dongle to connect to the helicopter. Turns out the setting on the Samsung Galaxy S3 for Mono Audio seemed to not let it work properly. Once that was unchecked it worked as it should have, connected and flew around for all of two minutes until a crash landing split the back rotor blade in half. All in all... probably not worth the money they're asking.

Galaxy 4 will read dongle but will not light up or control copter. Does work on ipad and ipod touch ok but sometimes hard to get it to register as well. Read more reviews and found playing with volume in flight mode worked.

It doesn't work on my htc one x.. But it works on Lg.. I wonder why?? And difficult to fly

Works great-just make sure your screen is clean. Otherwise you'll be all over the place

App isn't as responsive... But works....

Moto Razr: I found that by adjusting system sound settings allowed the dongle to function properly. Turn off special audio effects for wired sound devices.

Only food for u if u have the helicopter.

2 Seconds of lag at moments. Doesn't articulate forward or back. I race an associated t4.1 at the local rc track and can't even fly this *kids* toy.

Bought this toy and dl app its horrible doesn't work on either galaxy s 3 or Nexus7 cant even return it helicopter doesn't respond at all

Worked once outside for 10 min. After that helicopter would fall 2 seconds after start. It is fully charged. Seems like a faulty connection within the dongle (also charged). So it is now useless after 10-15 minutes of play. Volume on phone is at full. Also noticed that response on motion mode using gyroscope isn't very accurate. With everything set in the middle, the helicopter still rotated as if the rotor was about to fall off. Buy one with a dedicated controller.

It is a good setup but lags way to much. With my S3 I had to know in advance if I wanted to turn because there was a 3-5 second delay between my phone and the helicopter.

Great controls flies better than any other rc helicopter I've ever had only thing wrong with it is that it can have some trouble connecting to the helicopter but totally possible

Ok so it "works" but it is either full bore or crash. There isn't much in the way of smaller adjustments. It does work though. Nexus 4 Xylon014 Android 4.2.1

Cant even get the thing to fly right for some reason htc evo 4g lte make the heli fky in small circles as if recieving a singnal from all direction

This is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it! However, PLEASE tweak the UI a bit. My suggestion is to add up and down "buttons" for the throttle, in addition to the slider. This way it's easier to gradually increase/decrease elevation,making for a smother, more enjoyable flight.... AND the addition of those buttons would allow - those inclined to do so - to map controls to a gamepad, such as PS3 ;-)

Works great on both of my Android devices, just make sure you tune your volume until the green light on the ir dongle start flashing then turn on the helicopter and push the throttle to full and back down and it will start working,, my os are Ginger bread and ice cream sanchwich, it should work on these, good luck

actually works quite well Droid Razr have to turn your phone equalizer off and turn airplane mode on

Works very well with an iphone, doesn't work with Razr. Looks like there's no power to the IR device.

Gave it a college try, but found it impossible to control. Android control for r/c toys is just a gimmick. Do not buy!

I don't know if I like it My HTC wildfire won't work but worked on I pod 4.. gotta buy new Android.. sigh

Truly ridiculous. If you want to break a $30 toy in five minutes because the controls suck we have the product for you! Stupid
