Petralex Hearing aid

Installed this 5 minutes ago and immediately uninstalled. I lost my hearing a week ago and needed something that would amplify the sounds around me in real-time and without distortion. After going through the set-up of the app, i turned on the feature to find it was distorted and inaudible. Even my own speech was distorted and i couldn't make out anything. Still searching for an app that can help me. Avoid this! Great concept just doesn't work properly.

No way to turn it off other than app manager force stop. No instructions on settings. Buggy volume controls that drop volume and have to be zeroed to reset volume level. Half second audio lag.

It worked well but the lag time was just too much for me. I wanted use if to watch tv, but its,about 1.5 seconds behind. It was just too annoying to use.

It worked for few minutes. Then it stopped working. Only noise and some type hiss sound is coming. I have created a profile, but still same issues. It didn't help much

Im and ole geezer, i found this easy to learn. At first i couldnt figure out how to turn it off but like many other things it was right there before you. You have to be patient when conducting hearing test. That could be explained better. Totally totally thankful no ads. Four and a half for that.

Does not use headset mic or it would get 5 stars... (i have official samsung headset for S5) This means you can only use it while sat watching TV etc. Can't be used outside because it uses the handset mic so all it picks up is the rustling in your pockets!

There is a delay in the time the noise or word is made or spoken and the time you hear it. Not as good as my hearing aids (6k to 12k) but its also a free phone app.

Best in its class, however I'm impatient with the relesase of the pro version. More control over how I hear my surroundings the better.

I really love this app! But I wish it stays on longer than 2 minutes. When it passed 2 minutes everything sounds different and began not to hear anything. Only way I can keep it going is keep switching profiles.

Awesome !Lots of settings for free!Does the job when needing to hear what's going in around my house at night with all the break ins and vandalism.

Only negative is the use of the mic in the phone, but switching to the one on the headset would make other problems as that demands use of the other sound API phone instead of media.

I can hear better, yes, but there is still a delay. This app is a curiosity rather than a tool.

I have tried everything!!!!!!!! I have 2 s4s. Keep taking new hearing tests. Put ear buds in again...PLEASE!!!!!!

I didnt show any help ,difficult to find how to use the complete app. After test performence,it didnt show results ir comparision.

Done nothing to in prove hearing at all.

Good for the most part, but it should shut itself off when a phone call comes in.

Tried all day to get a clear voice sound, from TV and then talking to people in the room, could not get any usable sound with headphones via cable or bluetooth. Talk was drowned by background even with noise cancelling headphones. BT connected Ok but sound quality unusable. Turned phone to Mono for BT and still no good. Please tell me how to make this work as if it did what it claimed it would be very useful, even life-changing. I am looking foe something that will also work with hearing aid T-Loop.

Installed quickly then I opened and it wanted access to my media files and then asked for microphone recording access I said no to media and yes to microphone App went to uninstal / force stop screen So what's with needing media?

Some days it works other days it screeches and beeps. I like that it works on Bluetooth perhaps it's the 7.0 Android glitch

After update doesn't work! The sound is awful.

It's awesome. Amazing! I can hear downstairs CLEARLY! No static, No intricate fine-tuning that I don't understand. It does it all for you! THANK YOU! And, Yes, I really am just some random person who happened onto this app after being disappointed by others. This app is the TRUTH!!
