Supertech is proud to introduce the release of the iSupertech Digital X-ray Technique Calculator Universal App for your Android Mobile device and Tablet. The Supertech Digital X-ray Technique Calculator Universal App is a Digital Radiography tool for the Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.

The iSupertech Digital X-ray Technique Calculator Universal App is a great tool for the experienced tech and the new student tech as well. With over 10 Digital X-ray systems included in the first version of iSupertech Digital X-ray Technique Calculator the user will have a great tool to rely upon when needing to reference a technique. iSupertech allows the user to look up techniques for over 150 exams. Techniques are calculated for the user and Exposure Indicators for each system as well. iSupertech takes this one step farther and provides an appropriate exposure indicator for each image and a target exposure indicator number. The target is what you as a tech will want to hit in order to bring the lowest dose to the patient while getting a diagnostic image. With each digital imaging system the user is provided with a document with instructions on how to use proper radiographic procedures and formulas. This document can be accessed by pressing the small blue circle i next to the displayed target exposure indicator number range on the answer screen.

The purpose of iSupertech is to put digital radiographic techniques and proper technique adjustment at the tip of the technologist fingers. The technologist will find the techniques, Exposure Indicators numbers and Target E.I’s very useful and helpful. With correct technique and accurate positioning the technologist should be able to get the image correct the first time. Repeat exposures are the number one cause of increased dose for the patient and we can help limit patient dose by using iSupertech.

•Exposure Indicators for each exam
•Target Exposure Indicator numbers for each exam and instructions on how to adjust technique to reach target. Lower the patient’s dose and still create a diagnostic image.

Update Includes:
We started with 10 vendors and each had one set of charts with medium
size patients only. In addition, there was only 1 choice of how much
mAs to choose from. The changes we made to the app are as follows:
1- We now have all vendors with small and large patients.
2- We now have 4 choices of mAs to choose from.
These upgrades increased the amount of charts we supplied from around
1,650 to almost 20,000.
