The Settings button appears to do nothing. Outside of the app, I cannot see the need to have to go to the website to view cameras. I know why you have done it obviously. It is to make it possible to charge people for a subscription to access their cameras remotely. You should have just charged for the Windows client instead.

This app is a waste of time. Half of the screen is white. The top half just control buttons. Where's the bloody video? Come on developer. How about you address some of the complaints we are posting about? Its not like your software is free. Do you not think you have some sort of responsibility towards your customers? Shame on you!!!!

Requires a monthly subscription to connect using my mobile data to my home network. What exactly am I paying for? A monthly fee for this app is a joke. They aren't providing a service that warrants a monthly fee. A one-time fee I can understand, but your issuing data lines I already pay for. Ripoff.

Servers not connected?? This is one of the most frustrating services I've ever paid for. Intermittent access remotely because "ispy is not currently connected to this account". Hmm. My bank account is. So is my desktop, no problems. Why can't I access remotely? Website issues? What's the deal? I want to monitor remotely while away for the holidays and can't.

Screw this trash...ads on the first page then it wants me to create an account so my email can be bombarded with more spam. Hilarious.

I very rarely leave bad reviews but iSpy has really ****** me off this time! Here's why: Tap "settings" and nothing comes up (how am I supposed to configure things like alerts). Talk function is only through a Text-to-Speech engine (why do this if all phones have a mic). Digital zoom not available. List goes on... can't believe I paid for a subscription, why should I renew it when it basically just gives me remote access through a useless app. IMO better off using TeamViewer, unfortunately.

Works. Only issue is I keep getting logged out every day, even with the "remember me" option selected. Also the settings doesn't work

Mobile app works fine viewing all the camera's for about 2 minutes, maybe less, then for no apparent reason it just stops. A lot of potential but needs to be fixed

Can't even log in, tried to reset my pw and it's asking for a country code, I type it in and it tells me wrong one. This all sucks!

I use it in conjunction with their Windows software, this is simply the best I've found, so many options, can't complain, price is right for a cheapo very effective system

It's very slow and the picture quality is poor. Now it doesn't load at all, just says loading.

love the app but after update you can not see live feed even if you in the same house on your mobile drvice or other pc use to be better

I just started playing around with an old webcam(10 years old) and found this software. Works well, I'm also using the integrated cam in my laptop (alienware 14). I just wish I could turn off the cam "on" lights while in use. I may go buy some more cheap webcams and set up a large network just for the neck of it, I'm using the free version btw. App on phone (HTC M8) works well too.

This is not an app, only shell for web. Playing recorded video does not work.

It's not even a functional option in the app without being a paid subscriber. So, it's basically useless for me.

Guys, i had problems accessing it remotely too, but then i found out the issue was with the automatic port fowarding. If you go into your router browser and setup port forwarding manually, it works just like if you were connected to your home network. ispy has a couple of notes on their webpage on how to do this. I couldnt be happier :)

Galaxy s5 will not load anything. The windows software is smooth and silky but this just sucks. Thought i found my solution...but sadly no.

Yeah its all free till you want to monitor your home while you're away from home and let's face it that's when this bloody thing matters. Nope its NOT free and you don't even get a free trial! And it only works once. FIND SOMETHING WORTHWHILE.

As a technical person, I have no idea why this app doesn't work over mobile networks... completely stumped! As soon as I'm on Wifi (work, home etc), away we go, good as gold. Move away from a Wifi connection and it's completely useless. This is after paying for the subscription as well. I'm at a complete loss as to why being on a mobile network should make any difference (unless it's mobile data firewall related?!). When it is working, it works well - with one exception... When downloading 'clips/movies' to your device, they're saved in a location that means you can't then email them to yourself or view in the image/video gallery. Personally, I can live with with mobile network issues (although it is quite annoying) but not being able to download and forward is an outright annoyance. Otherwise, the app is stable, and works as advertised. Remember you need to subscribe to access outside your iSpy LAN.

Since the new pro version, the app stopped working. The pro version of the windows application sucks as well. You cant delete captures and it captures too much by default. Its confusing.

AWEAOME App. You have to get your cameras working properly and you have to understand certain things about IP Cameras. Some ppl just don't get it.

iSpyConnect works and it works well. I am on vacation and staying in a hotel. Recently I noticed my locker door has not been totally shut and I make sure it is shut tight as I need to give it an extra push. I installed iSpyConnect on my laptop and their app on my cellphone so I can see what is going on in my room when I am out and the room is being cleaned. I have stayed in this hotel many times without any problems. However there is a new man on the cleaning crew, who works really hard but it was after he was hired I noticed the door not fully shut. I turned on iSpy and went to the lobby and watched. The three maids cleaned the room and left, then the guy came back and went straight to my locker and opened my backpack. I ran back to my room and he quickly closed my backpack and locker and said oh I am cleaning. He no longer works here and iSpyConnect prevented me from being robbed. Thanks.

Ignores rotation preferences (I have auto rotate disabled), I can't access the sittings--just won't open. But otherwise it gets the job done. I'd never pay to go pro with the inconveniences.

But my cameras wont load when I'm on my 4g network. I have a paid subscription

How to bypass WWW server restrictions: setup local VPN and VPN access to another PC and phone done now watch from snywhere

Poor quality considering this app has pricey monthly subscriptions even before incorporating (pay per use) text alerts. The android app is web-based and is completely unusable without an internet connection. Also there is no easy/quick way to toggle detection recording without manually switching all devices off or losing your specific settings (rec'd on detect for one, rec'd on alert for rest will instead end up all rec'd on detect) So you can't have motion detection in a closed area trigger the outer area

For free software and a remote app to my phone plus bad internet speed its doing a really good job

But you have to be online just to use this app and to connect thru web viewing. Anyways, nice one.. I can still monitor my target..nyahaha

For basic home monitoring with motion detect, an excellent app to go with the program

Its just their mobile site wrapped up in an app. There's no point in downloading it at all. Also, are those iPhone screenshots? What the heck?

Works period. Now I can see all activities within my home that has either a cam on their PC/laptop or my IP cam setup in my living room. Only comment is that instructions are not indicated correctly for the average user to follow. Need to revise the instructions like 40% of it. Overall it works as it should.
