Il Liceo Scientifico Michelangelo è nato nella seconda metà degli anni ’60 per rispondere alle esigenze di una città in rapida crescita. Attualmente la sede centrale è situata in via Dei Donoratico e nelle sedi staccate di Via Melis e Via Grandi.
Il Liceo si articola negli indirizzi dello scientifico tradizionale, del Liceo delle Scienze Applicate e del Liceo Sportivo, per soddisfare le richieste diversificate dell’utenza.
