English Audio Books - Librivox

This app is very good for english learners. You can read and listen to the book at the same time. I don't quite like those audio books without ebook to read as i want to make sure what i heard are right or wrong. Thank you very much for creating such a great app for free.

First of all thanks for such a nice kind of apps. But some where have wrong pronunciations. Plz take care of those who r recording. Anyway really its a good and helping apps. Wish u good luck. wil wait for upates.

The ability for reading or listening to the books, is a nice touch ( I only found one or the other, previously) I have only had a few occasions when my search was in vain & they were fairly rare books

why downloded files stored in divice memory card? If it's file is stored in external SD card, it would be more better than now.... and we can download and stored more books and audio at a time....

Really like the app but I don't like that I have to keep going back so that I can start the new chapter I would like to listen to it in my car but it is not very convenient other that great app

I hate this app and giving it one star because it had stopped working. In all books I can read only first 3 pages. I don't know what is the problem for I was read those book fully earlier. Please fix this problem

I just got this app now I am Reding more than I have did in my life and I am only 18

1. The app is great to improve English listening skill as they can read as well as listen. And also good for entertainment. 2. But there should be an option to lock or to unlock screen rotation from vertical to horizontal in the setting section. Thank you.

It's very useful as you can download the books you like and listen to them when you are offline. Good application for improving your English.

Very good apps. However it is suggested that while studying different pages words should be pronounced on single touch.

This app is pathetic and is just for child's morever This is no way to search any good book from list like art of war arc. Plz improve it

The content is extreme good but the app is not convenient for users. For example the rotation, repeat, auto next or setting timer function.

Don't like having to press play each chapter as I use it to fall asleep... still really good though.

Why books not there i try every one of them i only can't listen but can't read or see the words please help me here i even purchase the $2.99 premium one and still the same

I was looking for an app to listen to the books. I downloaded so many but ended up deleting them because they were not what I was looking. This app is great. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to find an audio books. Great app.

Maybe including the option to browse the meaning of words in in Google.

This is a good app for listening to audiobooks, giving access to several different readings of many books. However because screen rotation cannot be turned off in this app, it makes it difficult to read when one is not upright.

It would only read one chapter at a time; then it stopped until I selected the next one. As the reader progressed through the chapter the text stayed on the first page instead of rolling over to follow the voice from page to page. The screen kept switching from portrait to landscape although I had screen rotation turned off. When you choose free books from Librivox, please please please choose the solo version.

The listening stops at the end of each chapter, which are very short, so very often you have to click to go to the next one. Also you cannot go back or forth easily. A player i have makes you go back or forth 10 seconds or 1 minutes. It is very useful.

It's really good App I would say and have a lot of ways to improve ones English.

Reading and listening at the same time is great but interactivity is poor. Incremental fwd-bwd should be possible. Dictionary look up would be wonderful.

Works in 2G also. Need dictionary and speed control option. Some of the book not opening,its hard only AUDI file. For e.g "how to analyze people on sight

It is not working well as your write about it when I want to download the mp3 of a chapter than is show that error I don't know how to solve this problem who knows plz tell me what to do.

Nice audio, it have precision word between audio and text, so help us to have habits in english

This could use a few genres that work and may faster loads speed

It is amazing except for the facts that when the chapter ends you then have to click on the next chapter to hear the next part. And I sleep with it on so it gets annoying when trying to sleep and then having to change the chapter

Having a new reader for each chapter makes it difficult to keep the characters straight. Too many accents and intonation differences.

Try it, you’ll gonna love it.
