It works very well, but for anything you do it shows an ad to their site. Only way of making it go away is clicking. Seriously?

Why not let the camera record you while the prompt runs? Seriously, why not?

Splash screen shows too frequently, has no obvious bypass, and trying to find one took me to the website every time, which was annoying. Start delay didn't seem to work. Unclear if remote option allows control via smartphone, but seems not. Quickly appeared inferior to other apps I'm testing so I uninstalled.

DV prompter is well designed. Initially I was put off by the fact that it cannot read existing documents on my Galaxy Note 3 but using cut and paste seems to work well and may even be easier to use. I particularly like the wide variety of user settings and the stability of the product. It does run a little fast on my device, but I can manage that using additional line breaks. I would prefer to have a paid version of the product so that I can avoid the splash screen that crops up whenever a change is made to a document. Other than that, this is a truly useful product, which is a lot more than I would say for "Teleprompter Pro", which cost more and on my device, didn't even stop the screen from turning off in mid use.

Remote control is plugged into audio socket, and is £90-odd. 'Remote Promoter' can use Bluetooth keyboard to control, get a mini one for £10

Not sure why this gets good reviews... You cant even import text from an external file? You cant use your phone as a remote for your tablet? Even if you bought the iPrompter kit, you would still have to LOOK AT THE PROMPTER SCREEN to be able to control the speed! Surely the prompter should be operable by the cameraman, ie who does not have a view of the prompter screen?? Rubbish!

I've tried several teleprompter apps and this one seems to have the most functionality as well as the fact that it's missing the quirks many of the others have. It works very well. I think it only needs a few things be a virtually perfect app: 1. The ability to swipe the text up and down while paused. 2. On-screen scroll speed control. 3. The ability to open text files directly (rather than pasting into the app) Great job! You're almost there. Thank you!

Thanks to the frequent crashes and SLOOOOOOOOW response, you'll be able to bill your clients for twice as much time!!! Easily turns a one-hour shoot into a two-hour shoot. Timing settings use a scale of 1 to 10 instead of TIME. Can't adjust start position (always starts at the top of the page). Can't open txt files. You're better off hand-writing cue cards.

Great work team - thanks for making this available. It does what it's supposed to do and it does it well.

Scroll stops when touched, it would be good to start scroll again by touching the screen again, the little arrow at the top is too fiddley! Long touch to move text up and down. File folders for classification of lyrics.

Had a week of video shoots, quickly realized we needed a teleprompter - tried several of the the android teleprompter apps, this is by far the best. The Bluetooth keyboard integration is essential, the app is intuitive and simple to use. Tremendous piece of work, a great app! Highly recommended.

This works for short pieces, but actually using it on a longer script reveals several functional limitations. There were times when I needed it to scroll faster than it scrolls when set to the fastest. What is more of a challenge, however, is if you need to stop and back up a little, so you can restart a segment. There really isn't any way to do this, you can't back up, only continue where you paused, or restart. This is a huge stumbling block, which forced me to actually break up my script into several smaller segments, so I didn't have to start from the beginning if I stumbled on a section. This would be extremely useful if you had the functionality to actually scroll up or down, or fastforward and rewind to get you where you need to be. I hope this functionality is implemented in the future, as I would give it five stars if I had transport controls, and faster speed control.

Not a bad prompter, but starts in portrait mode regardless of orientation preferences. Also, I want a prompter to do the following: 1. Change column size...it's much easier for people watching to spot horizontal eye movements than vertical ones, therefore it's better to read from a narrow column. 2. Import from various document formats...easily! 3. Use bluetooth smartphone to control presentation speed. 4. Touch tablet screen to pause, scroll forward or back. 5. Make it easier to access the menus. 6. Edit documents on the scroll screen, so you can fix errors quickly. 7. Record timings on a run-through. If I'm making a speech, but want to speak off script on a few headings, it would be nice to be able to schedule pauses, and change the speed according to what I'm reading out.

Good app, but when re-takes are necessary, it is absolutely vital that we can drag the text (or use the scroll wheel on the blutooth mouse that comes with the hardware) to scroll up and down through the text. Used it for the first time today, and kept having to exit the text and re-start, or wait for the full scroll to finish so we could get another take. Presenter liked to have the text start at the very bottom (with most of the screen blank), but the only way to have this happen was to wait for the scroll to finish completely and start again. Please let us scroll !!!!

Works well. Features I'd like to see is landscape mode for the list of your docs. You need to spin your android to see in portrait. Also would helpful if for a full stop can automatically do a double line break.

Could use more flexibility on the scroll screen. Had to play around a lot to figure out the right speed settings.

X70%

It has everything i could think of plus it supports the bluetooth keyboard - space for start/stop and arrows to jump by a paragraph up and down

Ability to import word documents would be a real time saver.

The best one I've tried so far, but needs rewind and fast forward. Doesn't offer the basic features of what you'd expect in a prompter
