ipiit - Scan Food Ingredients

One of the best apps if you are gluten free. I have a daughter that requires a gluten free diet. Works great ! Has common items in database . I would recommend this app for people with food allergies, parents with kids that are Autistic and follow a gluten free diet or if you just want to avoid things like MSG. You pick your preferences. Easy to use. I would give app a try and if you don't like there is always uninstall.

I am lactose intolerant and have a milk protein allergy. I love this app, it is definately my go to when I'm grocery shopping. It doesn't have every item but they have said their working on adding more. If apps like this didn't exist shopping would be a lot harder because Google searches suck and are not helpful at all. Also if you scan an item and the app says you can't have they do provide alot of alternatives.

Being Lactose Intolerant was over the mood to find this app cause thought it would help immensely as its a new allergy for me, however the items ive tried to scan from the kitchen cupboards are not on here! Will try it on my week shop but not holding my breath. Dissapointed to say the least

Reading labels at the grocery store can drag out a simple trip if you want to buy more than just fruits and veggies. Thanks to this app I can focus on those items I can and can't eat due to my son's food allergies being passed through my breastmilk. Would like the option to search for food items.

There just aren't enough food allergy options. I have over 20 food allergies and need something like this to help me keep track of what I can have but the only option for me is almond. Add more and I'll be forever happy with you guys.

My son has just been diagnosed with celiac and this has been a fun and extremely helpful tool to have. The only down fall is that there are still many foods that are not on the app. Love it though.

This is actually a great app. Let me know when you put Corn, all its forms, on your list. I can't fully utilize the app if my allergen isn't even on your list. I did select it on the wish list, I guess I'll just keep reading the labels.

Still new to the App yet I already enjoy it and finding quick use of it. Glad to see and can't wait for more development of this. Be a helper and take clear photos of the products you scan in. Thanks for the option to "Be a helper."

Can you make it possible to take the tour after I still sign in? Also, if a food I scan does not come up, I should be able to submit it to the database.

Being that Peanut allergies are one of the most common allergies I feel like that should be an option. It seems like a great concept of an app. I love the idea of it, but not having at the very least, some of the most common allergies on there is disappointing.

Was able to scan big box and can labels. Not all info is in database but asks to take pictures and send. Was not able to scan label on apple, nectarines or navel oranges.

I cant scan anything! Everything i try is not available yet like god i should be getting paid for as much as i would be helping to log it for them! What a waste of time and effort !!

It had all my options, too bad when it came to the scanning all it could do was continuously refocus. This app would be exactly what I was looking if it worked.

Love this app. It's very fun and with recently having to change diets in the household, this comes in very handy. But very fun. It's nice having an app to find non gmo foods.

Amazing app. I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and IBS and allergic to all grains and lactose intolerant. If I could give it a 10 I would. Thank you

Does not replace reading labels for life threatening allergies. Not all ingredient list are accurate. Could not inform them of incorrect information. Daughter swelled up.

Doesn't have all my allergies. I requested them but I don't know how long it will take to actually get them considered

I was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and was really worried about how I was going to be able to figure this all out. My Aunt told me about this app and I LOVE it! It has made is so easy for me to be able to find gluten free products.

Installed and deleted within five minutes. No option for vegetarian, fish allergy, shellfish. Add these and I may try again.

Like the title says, they don't have much of a database. Wasn't a single item in my kitchen that it recognised.

Ingredient lists are not plainly written. This app saves me time when shopping. It quickly identifies msg and other ingredients I want to avoid.

I have a difficult time getting it to read some barcodes. Wish there was a text-based search as well.

Every BC I scanned, I was apparently the first user to scan it. I had to give the info lol waste of time.

Great for friends and family trying to learn about Celiac's disease and what my daughter can and can't eat!

This is great!! My boyfriend has a corn,gluten,dairy allergy and usually groc shopping takes forever, reading lables! So much faster with this app!!!

I've tried numerous times and the scanner in the app doesn't work. All my other scanner apps are fine.

Very well designed. I'd love to see nightshade allergy listed, I submitted it as the wishlist menu. Thank you so much for developing such a useful app for those with allergies! I haven't been able to use it, but it looks good! Props to the developers for acknowledge more items can be added and giving the customers an easy way to give feedback. Nightshade is a pretty unusual allergy from my understanding, but it's great they acknowledge it and seem to be working on incorporating it. :]

Needs much more frequent updates to include items in the database. Also obviously pushing certain agendas that garner attention but are not actually safety related which is irritating.

This is a great app to have!! My dad had celiac so it's great to be able to check if a food is okay so quickly, while i'm shopping. Just wish it were easier to add foods to the database, but they're pretty responsive.

A little difficult to scan product, but a breeze to use after. It's amazing help!

This is a good app, its the only app that I can find that lets me scan my food to see they have any of my allergies in it. But, the downside to this app is that when you scan most items, it doesn't come up on there system so every time it doesn't come up on there system, u have to take various pics of the item. But, overall, it is a good app. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
