iOximeter for Android
I have used it on three different phones so far, and it has been accurate and convenient to use. I've used it to monitor my O2 sat level while sleeping and while exercising. Great app!
It's a sorry piece of junk
The Android app is very basic. While offering graphical display of pulse rate and SpO2, it does not save and report on previous sessions. The graphs are cumbersome to navigate, do not sync timelines, and are missing perfusion index and breathing rate statistics. While acceptable for real-time reporting, it offers little value for any use case requiring historical data.
The application gives up and stops working after an hour or two. This makes it of very limited use for monitoring sleep.
I have an S3 Samsung. I use it for a sleep study to monitor low oxygen. I transfer the data to Excel for analysis. Logs data every second.
Do not install it it damages your mobile earphones
First unit arrived and was not working. Just as others reported no power, no red light that ever came on. Tried on both galaxy S5 & iPhone. So I ordered a second one, giving it the benefit of the doubt, the second unit isn't working either :(
No power to device using headphone jack on both my android phone or android tablet.
Good
Please add a toggle for audible pulse beat! PS You can add Note 3 to supported devices
I would like for the develop staff to be able to save my screens any idea when this app will be able to save
Doesn't work at all, no power to the device through the phone jack.
Good product. Looking forward to future innovations
I love tracking my stats regularly with iOximeter. The graphs are very informative and easy to use.
It works but there is not yet a recording feature. All results are real time and past few seconds. Packaging was ok but not sure mine was new.
Same behaviour as previously reported: The start screen looks good. I hear 18 times a ca 200ms scratching noise, every second, then silence. Help pages are fine. The alarm page labels look unrefined, the alarm help gives no answer, and I sometimes can get a crash which I reported. Overall, on this Samsung GT-P5100 tablet the look is quite acceptable though the change from vertical start screen to horizontal alarm setting is annoying. I would certainly prefer horizontal throughout.

By far the best app/attachment I've used so far. My little one from Amazon is good, but can't record or give more reliable statistics and information, like iOximeter can. If you have problems, or don't get the " high level ear level warning" when you plug the iOximeter into the phone jack, check your phones ear plug jack for oxidation or build up. Works fine on my Samsung and my wife's iPhone. I use mine while riding my road bike to maximize my workout. 100% flawless :-)
