They last version was very simple and easy to use and i actually paid money for it, now the app is no longer simple. I purchase the simpler version, but now its just horrible. I would like a refund.

I see that there was a small patch and the generator was brought back. Haven't been able to test it out fully yet to see what was changed but I'm glad it seems you met most everyone in the middle by keeping the new and returning the old. Keep up the good work

Updown Tech is a company that really listen to their customers!! The workout generator is back and that is awesome!! this is in my opinion the best feature of the app and the one that set you apart from the rest of the fitness apps!!

Ok, so I've only used the new workout generator a few times. It's kinda like I remember it, but just a little more clunkyer than the last one. It seems when you pick three different areas to work on, say shoulders, triceps and Biceps, it will be like 80% shoulders, 15% bicep and then 5% tricep. I feel that it should be spread out evenly over each muscle group. Also when you try selecting the intensity, the intensity will jump up to the next tier of intensity when you tap on generate work out. So say you want an intensity of 7 for your work out, when you hit generating it automatically bumps the intensity to 8, which I guess if you really want to challenge your users, by all means keep it around. Also when you generate a workout and the number of reps aren't what you wanted but u accidentally tap on start there is no ability to delete a workout or when you change the numbers sometimes they don't stay changed and they revert back to the previous startings that were there before. Other than those 3 things it works great, I tend to mod the generated workouts anyway, so it doesn't bother me too much, those are just some of the clunkyer problems I wanted to point out. It's okay to want to improve the app just don't take the features that made your app unique away. Updown has such great potential and I hope to be a long time user. Don't lose sight of your goals, improve on the workout generator and move forward, there will be hiccups along they way and those are expected, not everything comes out perfect the fist time. Live long an prosper!

So I like the new look. Looks like it has more workouts. Still makes Android music turn off. Take away the actual live person and give back the pretend person. And it freezes can't see the action of the next thing

Like the new update so far, the idea of having workout channels is cool. Can i create my own channel ? Thanks

I used the app until Aug '16 and deleted due to being locked out to to essentially all the features as a free user. I just redownloaded, and was pleased with the updates. I have decided to come on board, and subscribe (the price also dropped). The app still has room for growth and improvement but this is one of the more unique and comprehensive fitness apps out there. I can always get a great workout, no matter where I'm at or what kind of time I have. Thanks UpDown!

So far, I've done a few workouts and I really enjoy it. A recommendation is a pause button so I can get into the require position. Also something bothersome is how touchy the app is. You need to be precisely vertical to scroll the app. If I move a bit to the left or right it swipes. Super annoying..

D70%
by D####:

A few features I'd like to see: 1) Better UI based on Google's Material Design guidelines. 2) Facebook friends integration. 3) ability to define specific equipment to use when auto generating a new workout. 4) ability to mix different workout types (i.e., strength exercises with stretching and cardio exercises). 5) yoga type with full exercise name audio cues and with no rest, between exercises (i.e, keeping a constant flow between asanas).

If you love your family and yourself then you need this app!! UpDown has been extremely beneficial to my families health. We downloaded the application and follow one anothers workouts on it. Whats great is I can track my parents workout patterns and help motivate them by creating family fitness challenges as well as utilizing their rewards program. I recommend anyone to not only download it, but have your family as well to get your family the fitness they deserve. #familyfitness

I've been using this app for about 8 months now, way more frequently these last months. I've tried out some other exercise apps but keep coming back to this one. I like how easy it's to select a quick workout and to follow the instructions, the clean (free of ads) screen, the exercise + rest time countdown are a plus. I use it mostly for core and cardio (now the few options available for free, lucky me) but wish we still had the other options available just in case.

Lots of exercises and fun. Would be better if it would stop logging me out. Now unusable as most features have been locked out.

I very much enjoyed this app at first but now I can't use the basic version of this app anymore. Requires upgrade. Not pleased

One minor thing, the grey dude doing exercises limbs morph into child limbs mid exercise. lt's super creepy. Evil Dead creepy. Actually its kinda cool. Keep it!!

I want 2 love this app but a few things drive me nuts & 1 may be a deal-breaker. Having 2 set things up when I log in is annoying. I'm starting back after a few months & cannot delete my prior history. I don't want it factored into my present day. The worse thing is that when I choose gym workouts, all it gives me are exercises w/ dumbbells and bands. I have those at home! I go to the gym to use machines so each time I basically have to build my own routine to do that which defeats the purpose of this app!!

Overall I like the idea of the app and the exercise variety it provides. I wish some things were more polished, such as the initial screen after entering the app. I have to re-enter my login info frequently and this discourages repeat use of the app

I agree with others that the animation could come with a written description...other than that i love it (im a waay beginner lol) i can feel the tightness in my muscles from the exercises and i like that it has inspirational messages during the work out its easy to use hopefully it well help me on my journey to make a better me thanks for allowing us to have this awesome app

I do like this app a lot but I wish there was more information of each rep. How to do it if you don't understand the picturw or gif and maybe info about what muscles it works.

I used to love this app until they updated it. Now you have to pay $5/month to use any workout features. Super ridiculous and not happening.

This is really useful if you're looking to start a fitness program, but don't have the time to organize it for yourself. The UI needs some polishing in places, but overall the functionality is great.

Great flexibilty for chosing the workout that's right for you. The weight amounts don't seem to adjust well and the overall navigation is a bit clumsy. Would also be nice to have a guide for some of the exercises. The animations don't always explain them well. Loved the random workout generator. 5 second countdown sounds disappeared after a few days which I miss. The points system and leaderboard don't motivate me but some people may enjoy it. Overall a fun and generally well done app to keep you going.

I think it's a great app, I just don't think there should be daily and monthly point caps. I like the points system, however I think instead of a cap on how many points you could earn per day/month should be changed to a goal you could set for that day/month. Besides that tweek its an overall amazing app. I was looking for an app I could use to track and help with workout plans and this defiantly delivered.

Thanks for the reply, as stated before, I have tried on both the web and the app, checking that password is the same and filling all fields even the optional ones. The only one not filled in is the company sign up code field. For some reason the sign up button remains unresponsive.

I would love to try this app, but it simply does not let me sign up. I put in all required information, and the"sign up" link simply does not work. Why have a app you don't let people sign up for?
