The Poet Tarot App is created to help writers, artists, or anyone working on an artistic project (or simply living a creative life) explore the nuances of their creative process. The Poet Tarot features 30 well-known poets.
This deck follows the traditional tarot deck with a few variations. The major arcana is made up of poets--Edgar Allan Poe makes a delicious Devil (XV) while Emily Dickinson is an obvious Hermit (IX). E. E. Cummings is a fantastic Fool (0) and William Butler Yeats, a transformational Ending (XIII). We've tweaked the suit cards to represent the stages of the creative process: Muses (Cups), Quills (Wands), Mentors (Swords), and Letterpresses (Coins).
The Poet Tarot is an excellent tool for writers and artists who are looking for innovative approaches to their creativity, ways to generate new work, and assistance in focusing on long and short term goals.

I had the physical deck that was kickstarted, and I love it. I've often inquired about other cards because frankly, there will never be enough cards! When I got the email that this was available, yes, I hopped online to download it, and if you lean towards literal bents, this is the perfect inspiration for you! Two Sylvias Press has never EVER disappointed me so far, and making this into an app, shows how committed they are to their products and customers. Somewhere on my bucket list is an opportunity to have my poetry printed by them.

I have the original Poet Tarot card deck and have used it regularly for two years. After loading this app to my phone I now have great portability for the same magnificent tool of creative inspiration. A few minutes to kill? With the phone app you can use the Poet Tarot app to explore new ideas or contemplate what may be holding you back. There is nothing to lose but inspiration to be at the top of your creativity.

It seems this app only offers single card draws. Doesnt allow multiple card layouts as other tarot apps out there do, so limited use and disappointing.
