Handy calculator. One error I think is it has the final set of rows on a Friday as 3 instead of 8 reps. Rounding facility, timers and ability to reset individual lifts would make it a great rather than good app.

The app is a good start but is missing basic features; a timer, workout history, an explanation of the program or any graphs to show progression. I will continue to use it as nothing better is available but it needs work.

This app is great besides the fact of being unclear but i will still give it a 5 star rating, if this is not fixed i will lower my rating but for those of you who don't know you will use ur 5rm.

Very simple easy to use. Exactly what I want. Does the math amd travks for you which is all I need.

Didn't really have much customization. Very one dimensional. Would have liked more things to change up. Will uninstall now.

The next thing I'd like to see is a graphing system to track progress over time, and maybe some optional accessory lifts. But what's there so far is great! Clean, simple and straightforward.

Would like to give it more, as it does the job, but the initial calculator isn't clear as to whether you enter your 5rm or your 1rm?

by N####:

bad interface, no timer, WRONG weights... Bench is supposed to go up 5 lbs each week, not 3.5lbs...deadlift didn't ever go up. Just badly designed. I wish I didn't waste my money, even though it's only 99cents.

To me this looks more like a developer's mock-up to test the calculations are working correctly rather than a user app. Not one word of explanation anywhere. Useful improvements would include: explanation of the set up (do you enter 5RM or 1RM weights), ability to handle user-selected rounding factor and user-selected week days, re-calculate upcoming weights where user fails to make a maximum set. Unfortunate choice of colour scheme; white text on a pale green background is difficult to read.

App is a waste of money if you're hoping to progress in kilograms, might as well save your money and just download a free spread sheet

This is exactly what I wanted. Nothing extra. Calculated all my lifts for me.

The app is very easy to use but isn't very clear when you have to set up your routine. On the set up routine page, do you need to log in the maximum weigh you have lifted so far or what else? Could you please explain it? I have just switched from 5x5 workout to the madcow but, honestly, is not clear how to use this app properly. Thank you

No ability to actually input what reps you did. No graph for progress. No delay. Doesn't work out your lifts. Just a basic calculator

H70%

Wpuld be cool to have rounding options and the ability to add .5 increments when setting up the weight.

D70%

Good free app, the best Madcow 5x5 app imo, though could do with a reset option on all lifts

D70%
by D####:

A bit slow and easy at first but after the 9th week it became an awesome routine app calculates everything all you have to do is tick it off cool app

K70%
by K####:

This app only calculates the theoretical weights of the Madcow routine, there doesn't seem to be provisions for rounding to usable weights. There's also no good way of logging or tracking actual progress..... What if I miss a few reps and need to repeat that weight next time? If you're only looking to calculate the routine then I suppose this is fine..... but even then you're probably better of with an excel spreadsheet found on Google for that purpose

Please add setting for kilograms

I can input my amounts into the routine list. After that there is nothing to do and everytime I exit the app it clears everything. - note edge
