Euskal Herrian begiztatutako animalia-espezieak erakusten ditu, eta web semantikotik lortutako informazioarekin aberastu egiten da, Lotutako Datu Irekiei esker.
Aplikazio honek Open Data Euskadi atarian (1) argitaratutako datuak erakusten ditu, eta web semantikotik lortutako datuekin aberastu egiten ditu. Horrela, erabiltzaileek Euskal Herrian zein animalia-espezie noiz eta non begiztatu diren ikus dezakete eta espezie horren informazio gehiago (mota, familia, argazkiak, etab.).
Lotutako Datu Irekien kontzeptuan, alegia, oinarritzen da aplikazio honen ezberdintasun garrantzitsuena. Datuak argitaratzen dituen erakundeak ez ditu bere sistemetan datu guztiak zertan eduki (lortu ezina izango litzateke). Kanpo datu baseetatik lortzen ditu datuak.
