Estudiosclinicos.org es una aplicación que funciona como registro de los ensayos clínicos reclutando pacientes en Chile. La aplicación permite a pacientes y médicos acceder a información actualizada de los estudios clínicos reclutando, una descripción del estudio y datos tanto del centro de reclutamiento como del investigador principal.

Los médicos que se registren en la aplicación tendrán además acceso a el correo electrónico y teléfono del investigador principal del estudio o su asistente, para poder hacer consultas sobre el estudio o derivar pacientes.

Tanto médicos como pacientes que utilicen la aplicación tienen acceso a links que llevan a los registros internacionales del estudio clínico y a documentos de aprobación locales.

La aplicación es un complemento de la página web www.estudiosclínicos.org, que entrega información para médicos y pacientes sobre estudios clínicos, las ventajas de participar en ellos, protección de sujetos de investigación y mecanismos de participación.

El uso de la aplicación es gratuito y tiene como fin contribuir a transparentar la investigación que recluta pacientes en América Latina y permitir una mayor participación de pacientes en ensayos clínicos de reclutamiento internacional. Doctors who register on the application will also have access to email and phone study's principal investigator or assistant, to make inquiries about the study or refer patients.
 
Both doctors and patients using the application have access to links that lead to international clinical trial records and documents local approval.
