UPDATED REVIEW... The program feature started working. I love that my lights come on at a programmed time and even dim or brighten when programmed to do at certain times. Also it turns off when programmed. Love this light. My only complaint is the Bluetooth only works when your like 5 ft away.

Bluetooth won't connect on my Moto g5. It connects on my Samsung Galaxy S5 which I just have laying around. The app loses connection at about 10-15 ft with a clear line of site to the switch. The timer feature does work nicely but that is about it.

Worked fine until the daylight saving time rollovers. Spring 2017 was an issue until the app was updated to 1.3.7. That fixed the spring. Now the fall rollover on Nov 5 has caused new problems. The device picks up network time so that has fallen back to EST. However the app still has Sunrise and Sunset based on EDT. One portion of diagnostics says Daylight Saving is active and the other says Inactive. The Refresh buttons on this part of the app do not appear to do anything. Have written to Leviton support but no reply yet. Not happy with this performance. The lights are used for security purposes and they are now not sync'd properly with Sunset in particular.

Won't pair. Same problems as others. Do not buy, major rip off.

Just doesn't work well, rarely connects to the switches and the switches when programed just do their own thing. Wish I had never bought the switches, I have three and none will work right

The app refused to pair with a bunch of DDS15 switches that I bought. I had to use the app on my wife's iPhone to configure them. The Android version of the app doesn't seem to work at all. I'm using a Pixel 2 XL.

Constant resets required and does not accurately auto adjust to sunrise and sunset as advertised.

Unable to designate an on and off time, pretty sad that you can only tell it to turn on and it will turn off when the sun comes up.. I only want it on for a few hours a night. Have to manually turn it off.. Pretty big oversight

I only bought this to use my phone to control the lights. It will not pair. There is only one way to pair and it will not find the device. I am very disappointed. Help me or my review gets worse. Thanks.

App does not work on my Galaxy Tab E....had to download it to my phone which I didnt want to do.....the whole point of the tablet was to get all the home automation apps on one device.

Garbage app, I'm pissed I even bought the switch at this point. Don't release a product unless the app that you need to control it works.

Doesn't work with Pixel XL. I had to use another phone. Needs a fix!!!

Worked on iPhone, but my Pixel did not work. No support available on the website either.

Same issues as most, devices will not pair with my phone. Waste of time.

This app is kind of garbage. Location doesn't work, have to reset the lights every couple days or they won't continue to turn on/off. Not sure if the lights themselves are also to blame, but this app has lots of problems. If you're reading this, you probably already own these lights though. :(

With first instructions in the App wrong it was just a sign of things to come. App says hold switch off, these units are out into pair mode by pushing switch on. Dispite that it will never pair. Like an idiot I tried pushing and holding off in denial that a reputable company would actually sell something that doesn't work. I would send the switch unit back but I don't think thats the issue. App doesn't work.

Concept is great, However like Aaron says, it will not hold the correct time. Works well for a couple of days then on/off time drifts. Sometime the on/off schedule is 5-6 hours off. Light should go on around 9PM and the lights come on around 4PM. Dont know why the unit will not hold correct time. Others have mentioned any type of storm and the unit looses control of the time. Will try to observe if this is what is happening.

This app is poorly designed. It requires me to delete and redownload the app every time i turn bluetooth off on my phone. I'll be searching for a different option. Great concept but leviton over promised and under delivered.

This app and switch worked great on my S6 edge. After updating to an S8 the app does not pair with the switch. The phone sees the switch when you check available devices in the bluetooth manager therefore I believe it's this app that is the issue.

No long fade up or fade down, Max = 25 seconds. I do not want the wifi version which requires 'always on' internet interaction and attendant security, 'IOT', concerns. I just loved the idea of using an app to interact/schedule the switch via Bluetooth​. Either this app is not robust enough, or my DDL06-BLZ is not . . .

The app works great till we have a thunderstorm even if the power stays on after a storm for some reason it stops reading the schedule. The schedule is still there I just save it again. Its in a GFCI and well grounded so if you find a fix let us know

The app works. However on power outage the smart light switch goes back to some default setting. Hence has no memory.

Doesn't connect to my light switch

App times out a lot when I try to connect. It doesn't sync the schedule well - seems to take a day for the lighting schedule to kick in. I like the concept of the app, just needs a little work!

Won't update for sunrise and sunset accurately which is the reason why I bought it.

It worked just once, now it will not pair. Have tried three different phones on different Android versions (4,5 and 6) and it refuses to pair. Sometimes it says no compatible devices found, other times it will return isnotconnected. No sense buying this product if there is no way to configure the device with the app (ver 1.3.3)

The app says the device can't be found. While it's clearly visible in the Bluetooth discovery menu. My older phone finds it no problem. Please update. Nexus 6p

The hour off-set is reset to no off-set each time you log into the switch. The minutes off-set doesn't work either. 11/2/2016 the new version is still unstable with hour offset options. I have 10 of these devices that I love but the software is amateurish and untested and a large pain to use. You guys should get a grade school kid to fix this. _–--------------------------------------------- Version 1.3.2 fixed many issues. It's more stable and easier to use. Thanks!

I love the customization. I can set on times in the morning before I leave for work and have it go off after I leave for work. Set the same for the wife as well. Same for when we come home. Fade on and fade off my LED's is awesome. Multiple schedules, individual days or different times for different days. Has a random setting for those watching for times on and off. Even set the brightness at different times when on. Example on at 6:20 pm upfade 10 second to 73% then at 7:30 pm 100%. Fade to off at 10 30pm

I installed the dimmer with no issues and manually it works fine. I installed the Android App and it worked great the first time I used it. Now it will not find my device... I have tried un-pairing and re-pairing several times with no success... It says "Authenticating" for 2 seconds then I get an Error message that says: "Unable to connect. Failure Status error. connect"
