Love the articles I find here. The new archaeological finds and discoveries are awesome and explained in depth. Photos are awesome as well. New app fixes technical glitches.

This is an excellent app for anyone who likes reading about history and archaeology from a fresh perspective. Articles are extremely well-written, ini-depth and informative, and always full of info that is surprising and not generally well-known. It's like having the Discovery Channel or the History Channel (or the Smithsonian!) right in your pocket. AND its free, and GORGEOUS to look at, just like the parent website. I look forward to reading it every single day all day, as the articles seem to keep coming nonstop! Good job, AO!

I love the new app, Ancient Origins carefully vets contributors and contributions. I have never encountered an article that is wish wash, these people truly do try to make quality material available to laymen with an interest in anthropology and archaeology and to the professionals in the business.

Ancient Origins has always provided up to date info that mainstream media ignores and does not deem as "news worthy." Glad I have the app!!

This app is a total turnaround from the previous one. I love that I can finally access the articles without being bombed by ads so the actual content in unreadable.

App seems to work fine. Have been a fan of ancient origins for a few years now and always find the articles to be thought provoking.

Horrible - Assaulted by pop-ups and intrusive adds almost immediately after clicking on an article on the main website. Uninstalled. || I stand by my review. The pop-ups are on the main web site, which is linked from the app.

Great way to receive new and interesting articles on the arcane and hidden.

Great app. Real information instead of manipulated mainstream conjecture. Love it. Easy to surf through the catagories too. I already use the main website so having the app is a bonus it kept me pleasantly occupied while abroad recently and stuck inside a hotel room all day due to continuas rain. Thanks ancient origin for creating a well designed and interesting app

Can't fault the app, works very well. Movement through the articles on offer is fast and fluid. Some very interesting information available, all well presented and comprehensive. I fail to see what others are complaining about. I have encountered only one pop up, asking if I wish to be added to the mailing list, which I am happy to be on. It's like everything else, if you don't like the website, the content or the app, then move on, there are plenty others available.

Nothing wrong with the app. I use AdGuard with my Android which stops all the annoying pop ups for Facebook. Not noticed any on this site either after using the blocker. Everyone should use a blocker not the fault of the developer.

I've had no problems with the app. For those getting ads, maybe you have something wrong with your device. Works great for me and really enjoy the interesting articles.

That this app is free is it's only redeaming attribute. Mythology, cryptozoology, and conspiracy theory presented as factual information makes this app about as reliable and useful as reading one of Erich von Daniken's books. If you want Archeology news and information find a different app. If however you want amusing fantasy reference materials, feel free to enjoy this silly app for what it is, light entertainment and nothing more.

Somewhat laggy, the articles take a long time to load, & jump all over while doing so. This is true of the website & the app, & has been so through multiple phones & Android OS'. The 'click to read article on one page', I can't believe that that's in the app too; nobody wants to click more than once to read an article! Other than that, love Ancient Origins & their content. Nowhere else have I found such comprehensive content, especially where the main concern isn't conforming to the establishment narrative. AO is a go to for extensive & in depth history, always fascinating. That said, the app could still use a little cleaning up & streamlining.
