Update: I have now tried a couple of MJE's other apps and I have to say I'm very impressed. This guy is the real deal. The Recovery app was especially helpful to me and I'd recommend it to anyone needing that kind of help. For this app, I stand by my original review. Still hoping for a short sample here. Or at least a couple of the in-app purchases at the $3 or $4 level rather than $9.99 for each of them. I've upped the star rating from 1 to 2 stars just on the merit of his other apps. May not make sense, but that's what I decided to do. Original review: I'm sorry to say that I have to agree with a lot of what Christine said. I installed this app because I wanted to get a free sample of what to expect. This contains mostly info on the paid downloads of the system he used to lose weight. I hope he reconsiders and replaces this with a short sample instead of a mostly informational audio.

I am actually interested in another of his apps, which costs 9.99. Which is fine with me. I've been using self hypnosis tapes for 25+ years, which used to cost $10-20. This contains mostly info on the paid downloads of the system he used to lose weight. I hope he reconsiders and replaces this with a short sample instead of a mostly informational audio.

Self promoting material should not be included in the script of a hypnosis track. Nor should links to your products or information and selective statistics that are best written in a book. It resembles brainwashing, and makes you untrustworthy. And over $10 for each in app purchase? Very effective in app purchases from competition approx $3. Very disappointing. The style is okay, the content is repugnant. Less flash, more substance & scruples please.

Promoting your own products within a hypnosis script is outrageous and unethical, especially when having paid £9.95.
