Absolutely hate the latest update. Bring back the old app. Invoicing workflow takes longer now due to how it's all laid out. It's overly complicated things for the sake of trying to clean up the presentation (I've waited till now to say anything to make sure I gave it a proper shot). It's the first time I've actually considered looking for a different app.
I have no experience of online invoicing and this was my first time introduced by a tech savvy friend. It was lovely to use but frustrating on two counts - somehow my first client got labelled as paid and we hadn't even sent the invoice yet. And secondly, I couldn't change the due date from due today so I had to include my due date in the comments below which looked unprofessional and contradictory.
App it's self great. Customer service service isn't non existant. After asking questions keep getting same reply "your card has been updated". How about answer my question you idiot. Deff not renewing.
The App is Solid, but they keep on increasing threre prices higher and higher now they are taking a cut of credit card processing fees if you don't have the highest plan, disappointed.
The new update is very bad do not like it have been using for 2 years now the old invoice to go was far better this new one won't even start up takes a very long time. Not great u need to fix it.
So all users know, they have removed the ability to export your expenses with images of saved receipts, possibly THE most important part of book keeping is to be able to prove your accounts. So all the receipts of my company for the last 5 years are now only available one at a time in a web browser and only for six months after my plan finished and I move to another supplier! Be warned this will cost you thousands in extra tax if you can’t produce on demand the evidence of your outgoings to HMRC.
No bad just don't like the price it keeps going up each year. Much cheaper and better ones out there.
As the application progressed they started to remove features previously available. I usually do invoices as i go. Now i can't even make an estimate even though i have paid for 10 invoices. Please stop removing what used to be free features
I have been using this app for about 4 years now. I have made serveral of my friends and family switch because it was honestly the best and easiest way to organize my business. I literally spent the day on the brink of tears the frustration im experiencing trying to organize what waa once so easy and simple is driving me insane. Why would u do this to someones business this update has made in nearly impossible to do what i could have simply done with the older version in seconds. -while inputing customer info after typing out their address and exiting their name and email address glitches and disappears so i hav to do it over sometimes 2-3times -simple invoices with one item refuses to print on one page it keeps separating into 2 pages with big blank spaces at the header and footer -i usually hav my invoices organized by due date so it easy for me to browse now i hav to select due date everytime i open the invoices -i hate that we cant hav unsent and sent invoices in one folder anymore These are jus a few of the disgusting "updates" please i am a loyal paying customer just give me my old app back. Im begging Update: Ok so i hav gotten use to the new layout and altho its not as good as the old version i cant live with it. But in one of the recent updates when viewing outstanding invoices it went from showing the due date to showing how many days left til the due date. This is really difficult to sift through.. i knw theres a search bar but sometimes i like to see how many i hav outstanding for a particular month. Can u please include the option of viewing the actual date in the listing instead of how many days left please.
This update is horrible. Wish they could put the old one back
Really useful app and worth the cloud fee. I put in a support request this morning and was answered within the hour.
Got the bugs fixed from the update. Loving the app now!
I really liked the old version of the app, this new version doesn't flow nearly as well. I did submit an email with my thoughts and never received a reply.

Rather than stroke the ego of the Dev team Ive decided to just list the cons of the app for a future fix. 1. Still no QuickBooks support 2. Customer Rolodex is limited to 200 unless you pay for enterprise 3. Credit memos do not correspond to invoices and are therefore useless 4. No mobile printer support. If any of these features are important might want to look into mobile biz and invoice asap first. But if you are looking for a basic easy to use app I would recommend this one.
This invoicing program is Shady at its very best. The the credit card processing used by this company is Criminal. I'll be reporting this to the authorities. Update; Invoice To Go does not let me cancel auto renew option. You have to contact customer support(good luck finding a phone support number) and ask for them to cancel. I waited 45 minutes for this. Quick Books works great. I regret wasting my time and money.
I have used invoice2go for a long time. It was much better before the big update, wish I could remove the update and go back to the original version. Don't like the layout, appearance or usability of the new app, it is definitely much worse and to now be charging users $159.99 for entry level package.......!! Just too much money. Even though it is a real hassle to start again with another app I will be going elsewhere. Talk about ruin a good thing, you fixed it until it broke...
I have used invoice2go since 2010. It was a very useful and effective tool for my type of business. I am a contractor. Before the "update" I was able to customize my templates to have a different invoice style for each phase of one job. It was easy to change the text on the individual fields based on my needs. Since the update, I cannot change the text in the individual fields at all. So now I have only one template to try to manipulate, making it very confusing for the customer, and ultimately my business. I will be looking elsewhere for a new invoicing program. What a shame. Even the price doesn't bother me. When you find something that works, stick with it. Just a piece of advice. Guess you don't care anyhow.
The app was super good until the STUPID UPDATE... im really thinking of asking for a refund. It used to work like a charm. Now it takes forever to make invoices. I got a response email but still sucks
Its a good invoicing app but now its asking for $229 yearly gtfo. Save your money and go elsewhere. This is too much to be forking out that kind of money.
Used 2 years now images of documnets or recipes attached in the field. Are totally unledgeable and very small.... Print one out and you will see what your customer sees.... It's a photo about 3"x5" on a 9x11 piece of paper.... So completly unledgeable to them THATS NOT WHAT A MOBILE APP SHOULD DO... should be able to attach items in the field and it work! MOST IMPORTANT IF YOU LIKE TO BE ABLE TO ATTACH IMAGES IN THE FIELD LOL THEY CHARGE YOU A TON TO USE THE DATA.... EITHER PAY $400 YEAR FOR UNLIMITED OR $50 FOR 200MB AND IT DOESN'T RESET WHEN YOU RENEW EACH YEAR OR IF YOU DELETE PHOTOS YOU DONT GET THE SPACE BACK. THIS WILL COST YOU A BUNCH OF EXTRA MONEY SO BEWARE! EVERY CLOUD BASE PROGRAM OUT THERE GIVE YOU YOUR SPACE BACK WHEN YOU DELETE IT!!! STUPID!
Was fantastic using premium for years now. My invoice and all my company saved greetings -settings are gone. Just my invoices are there. What happened? Can I get my settings back??
Was good until the update, Now doesn't work properly at all. Wouldn't waste your time filling out invoices for it to just lose half of them.
Well downloaded for my new business...sent 2 invoices all ok...tried a 3rd and now won't work...I've tried to upgrade and it won't take payment either !!

If you scan your receipts to a file or files (jpg, pdf, tiff, etc) just attach them to the email that Invoice2Go creates for you ready to send. You could have in your default email text (in Invoice2Go settings) "Please find receipts attached" and then when you attach the receipts you could add to the end of the receipts line in the email text "(x4)" etc or remove the receipts line completely if there are none that time...

Love the app and a longtime user but after many updates, it still won't switch to landscape mode on my Lenovo A12 tablet when I'm using the keyboard. :(
