Dreadful app. Doesn't work. Won't pair despite doing all the right things. Avoid the frustration by avoiding the app. I had the first version with my last PHEV which worked perfectly well. This excuse of an app should not be made available. Not fit for purpose.

Despite following the linking/pairing procedure correctly it just won't pair my galaxy s6 edge with the car. Even useful workarounds online failed. All because app still recognises two smartphones I deleted. Spare yourself grief. Get your car down to dealer and insist they reset software in your car while you wait. What's sad is that there are so many critics but Mitsubishi rarely if ever replies here. Like they don't care. Not good.

I have the Android version and it seems to work quite well. It's a bit clunky but last night I set the pre-heater while sat on my sofa with two brick walls between me and the car outside. The app connects to the car on opening and disconnects on closing, allowing my phone to revert back to my home WiFi, which is nice. What really puzzles me is why all the times and time periods are in10 minute intervals, which is a bit limiting. How hard could it be to program a bit more flexibility on the timer settings? This is the car rather than the app.

This app does not work. I have tried every way from Sunday trying to dagnise the problem but it won't pair to any phone i try

Dreadfull app. Won't connect to Asus pad, Moto G 1st, 2nd or 4th Gen. Wasted loads of time repeatedly trying and even trying de registering etc. Nothing will connect. Dealer says ,no problem with iPhone but iPhone is a minority market now and many of us are allergic to apples. As others said, WiFi is a ridiculous method of connection. Remote connection is a great idea but please wake up and get it sorted Mitsubishi. It's not good enough, you must try harder.

A fantastic app, when it connects. It often takes around 15 minutes and at least 25 tries to get it connected, and even then there is no guarantee it will stay connected. Come on Mitsubishi, sort it out. Contacted Mitsubishi and they say they have no plans to improve app as it is perfect, obviously they haven't read the reviews. They have said they can't do any more to test it and advised I get a different phone because apparently a OnePlus 5 is no good!

Disappointing. Disables WiFi connection to establish WLan. Should surely be able to work over normal WiFi or 4G?

Y70%
by Y####:

Keeps dropping the registration status so one has to repeatedly re register inside the vehicle each time. This renders the app useless. If it worked then it might have some use.

20 mins repeating pairing procedure with galaxy s7 it just will not pair.

Useless and disables 3/4G connection when using. Now off my phone

I can't believe this didn't work on my brand spanking new phev. Has Mitsubishi not seen the feedback?

Doesn't pair with car.

I'm sorry Mitsubishi, this is a really retarded and all-around bad way to control the car. Doesn't even work reliably when I can see the car! I need something that will start the heater when I'm not close. Whoever thought that WiFi is a viable solution för the connection?

Did not work with nexus 5, Samsung S6 edge+ or moto G smartphones. only worked with my Samsung tab S 8.4

Lots of attempts to registered. I had to reinstall app and turn off phones 4G and forget/ delete previously stored WiFi passwords on phone.
