Jotter (For Galaxy Note)

I've used this app in the past with my other Samsung Notes but it's not compatible with the newest model. I'm uninstalling.

Just installed this on my Galaxy Note and the Palm rejection seems to be working a treat!

I used to use this app all the time for lists but, it hasn't worked on my Note 3 for about 9 mo. now. I wish they would fix it.

That long since an update and all you did was add Chinese?

On my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, running stock Lollipop, 5.0. I was able to connect to Dropbox, only after several attempts, but after creating a document and selecting my s-pen writing settings, the app was incapable of showing any s-pen handwritten notes, and additionally, the keyboard input did not capture my input.

It takes too much time to pass from one page to the other. And the widget is too unstable. Also a few bugs are still there. For example if you are on the last page and for mistake you press the arrow to go to the following page, you can't cancel the operation and have to create a new page in order to go back. It sometime takes a lot to exit the app even in case of a single initial page. Other issues when you try to paste a copied text. And no update from months. I'm sorry, but It doesn't worth its price.

Great... till Lollipop. Stylus no longer writes. On Galaxy Note 3.

Galaxy note 4... app cannot draw. Stylus working but no lines on any color

Does the job --- less likely than the others to overheat my device --- and best of all, upfront price (no bait-and-switch in-app purchases that you can't tape after a device reset).

I've played around with this app and I'm sure it will come in useful in the future. However, there are a few things that I would like changing / improving before giving 5 stars: - Creating a new page in a notebook is too slow. I use the Note for writing in shorthand and need to be able to create a new page quickly. This app can sometimes take over 2 seconds, which is just too slow! - It would be good to have a button in the bottom right that I can click to create a new page once I've filled the current page with writing. - UI needs tidying up to make it look more professional.

The search Burton needs an option to disable it. Or reject it, my hand always tests on both the beach button and the search button.

Notes do not resize on rotation. Should be able to view notes in thumbnail also - very essential. Should be able to open new note instantly without going thru the process of naming it and wasting precious time during urgent note taking. Need more interesting backgrounds, there are a bunch which seem to be only repeats.

I like to doodle/sketch and this app lets me do it with ease... Just wish i could insert shapes like squares and circles.... Still i believe its a great app

Would be 5*, if you will add copy and paste function, otherwise very nice and easy to use, even back key is locked, home key is still come up everytime I try to write something, its terrible, and sometimes it didn't save notes, when u write something make like a save button plz, need a lot to fix

Right handed people like me hit the search key while writing...you can block keys and switch functions for left handed..why not for us right handed people??? Other than that love it! also need to be able to move files and incorporate them into folders....but overall not bad.

The app has poor functionality and is overpriced. Get free note, it is so much better and free. I want my money back

I love the fact that I can disable the Back key.

Light weight for the price. Went back to smemo within hours. Palm rejection by itself plus reduced functionality is not worth $5. I as a norm buy pro versions to support developers.

For basic note taking, this is my go to app! I use S Note for more formal stuff.

Its very responsive with the stylus. many note taking apps have a slight delay that drives me nuts. My only piece of feedback would be that the design of the icons feel a little dated. It would be cool if they matched the cyanogen ROM style.

Basic handwriting app. Can be improved by adding features such as for sorting and deleting pages. The features are basic.

Need better User Interface. Better icon, buttons...

I like that you can save as pdf I wish there was a way sync it to a cloud based system more easily.

But lacks resizing if widget, these need to be readable without having to open the app, also some backgrounds don't allow images to be inserted, overall nice adaption of the smemo, that can be used on any launcher or ROM, I do hope this will be updated

Widget keeps on crashing and it needs a few features like the ability to copy and past part of a page. Passing from a page to the following one or the previous one is a little slow. But it is still my favorite app to take notes.

Simple interface that works for brief notes. Definitely not for taking class notes. No ability to select paper size - it defaults to your screen size. No option to turn pressure sensitivity off. The advertised pdf export option does not exist. It stores every page as png file. Galaxy Note 8.

It is not at all opening every time it asks new page so what happened to old pages i am using samsung note 10.1 model sm p 601 2014 edition

The first really useful note taking app. Loved it, even with some minor bugs. Would like to see a diary template and more background options. Needs to be updated regularly.

Super smooth and reliable. Also the support is very attentive and ready to solve issues. 4 stars because the handwriting to text / numbers integration is not available. Also unable to copy selective texts after the note is saved not available

Very smooth writing. Works great on my Galaxy Note 8.0. Would like to see more export options, but still 5 star app.
