Shravani Mela begins on July 10th and ends on August 7th. Thousands of Shiva devotees from India, from other countries around the world undertake a pilgrimage from Sultanganj to Baba Baidyanath Temple. The month-long fair is also known as Shrabani Mela.
The River Ganga flows northwards at Sultanganj. It is the only place where the Ganga flows towards North. Pilgrims collect Gangajal, holy water from Ganga, at Sultanganj and carry it to the Deoghar Shiva Temple

Shravani Mela 2016 is very useful app. It will help kawanwariya to search stay places, police station, helth center. It tells the current location of kawanriya. Kawanriya can send their location with their relatives or freinds. You can also contact control room.
