Lame4Android for Android
It doesn't even have the ability to browse without installing an external app from Google store in order to browse for music files.
Wants to install a 3rd file manager instead of using cm or es. only 3 of the thousands of options available. All 3 options make the same file size
But 5stars. WHAS 9+10 21! U STUPED. NAH NAH.
This app is useless and should be deleted from Google Play.
Useless in kitkat, can't access internal files just links back to play store link...needs an update but apparently its abandonware now.
So I'm wondering like wtf
Plz fix the bugs! Ive tryed everything this app doesnt work!
Pretty much the only encoding solution available. It works! So hey, there's that.
Still in beta.
Get rid of the need too use a 3rd party file browser. And get more .wav support. It should know every type of .wav
I do have a couple of questions for the dev though. What are the encoder settings being used in the three options? I ask because with the wave I tested with the time it took to process didn't change by more than 5 secs between the highest and lowest ones. Does lame support arm multimedia extensions? (Neon in arm, altvetec in ppc, mmx or 3dnow in x86) All in all a very good start however.
Cant even open a file.... uninstall
It says file format not compatible. Fix it and I may try again.
Just prints a message saying 'Can't access input or output file' when I try and encode. Other than that it does nothing.
I have a number of wav files on my phone, most in 44.1khz, 16bit. Kept returning 'file format not supported' on all input. Will keep installed and hope future updates work. Problem on version 0.05
Works well
Excited about the idea but it simply doesn't work :-/ Filenames with spaces break it. Otherwise just 19kb files are output. Cyanogen rooted.
It doesn't even encode the whole file. I selected a one minute file and was encoded to a 9 sec file.
Says it encoded the file but it's done almost immediately and the file is too small to really be encoded and won't play at all.
no matter where I put the wav file, no matter which one I use, get a "can't access” both input & output. I'm just trying to convert a WAV! HTC Incred.
LAME!! Doesnt work. Makes you download this crap oi file app thats no different than your root one. Then it tries to convince you you didn't put input
