FitDay for Android
I use to love fit day! I don't know what happened but for the last 6 months or so i can't get on their website more often than i can because of internal errors on their part. I got the ap instead and every time i add a food to my log it keeps altering the quantity, first too little, then 5x the amount over and over. So frustrated that i use a different provider now.
I have used the PC for many years and for some reason I can no longer log in. This mobile app sucks. It freezes constantly and you can't do anything other than enter foods. I sent an email for assistance regarding my sudden inability to log in on my PC and nobody has bothered to respond. Looks like I will be moving to My Fitness Pal.
I've used their website for 17 years, it's great! I like it so much I paid to have the premium features, but this app stinks. It freezes, it's clumsy, it will show I had zero micronutrients and yet display my calories...I mean this is basic stuff that won't load properly. I installed three times since the middle of last year because I keep thinking they'll fix it, but after a week or so, uninstalled again.
Although I have subscribed for mobile upgrade, I can't access the features such as the weight log. A padlock appears beside this option in the list. But the upgrade page tells me I have already subscribed! Please sort this out as I begrudge paying for something I can't use.
I had to upgrade my phone so that meant update this app. It's terrible! The Only thing you can do is log the foods you eat. Nothing else that I noticed as useful at all! You cannot adjust your weight, calories, or anything. This is a free download of wasted space. If you pay them about $12 you can have your old FitDay. I am tempted to, because I loved the Old app.. But because I feel kinda sore about downloading it before finding this out.. Probably won't! It could be worth it to some.
REALLY? To enter my birthdate, you show a calendar around the year 2000, and i had to backup 30 years of calendar (thats 360 taps) to get to my birth year. Why not let me just enter the date like i do with height and weight? Already annoyed and i haven't even started entering data yet. May just go back to the PC version of this or just find another app... UPDATE: Decided to go with My Plate app. Initial thoughts are that it looks nicer than Fit Day...
Horrible. What's the point of the app if you have to pay for everything you get on the website for free? Greed...pure and simple!
Can't figure out how to set daily calories. Unintuitive....I think you have to but upgrade to so anything useful. FAIL.
I have used other apps and was disappointed that they don't track your vitamin and mineral intake. Fitday does. Yeah, the website is buggy, and other apps may be a little more elegant, but overall I have found fitday to be way better and offer more overall. Think of this not just as a calorie counter, but an overall healthy diet and exercise app.
I can't add some of my custom foods. The web version will add them, but the app will not. Can't update weight. I understand the profit motive. I just think that at least all the most basic features of the Web version should work in the app.
Why is the FAT not displayed in the nutrition report??? On a keto diet it is very important to keep track of it. Regretting that I upgraded! :(

Doesn't allow activity tracking or weight tracking without paying $11.00 per year. Many apps allow all of that for free. This app doesn't do anything that other apps won't do for free
I started to first use FitDay when it had its website days starting out and loved it. A friend of mine started to gain weight and his doctor told him about it. I have used it ever since. The app makes things easier and simple. We live in an on the go time so having this for the tablet and phone and computer is great. Other apps like myfitnesspal and others are nice because they track device data as well but this takes all the things you love about fitness and keeps it real and simple.
Used the desktop for years. I don't understand why after paying an upgrade to set a weight goal yet you still can't enter your weight unless you pay another upgrade? It's free on desktop but not the app??? Frustrating and total waste of money.
I got a request token error report, saying my service provider is buggy, weird, shouldn't happen
The selection of food sucks. Can only add custom food on computer.
This app is totally retarded except for its ability to track many more micronutrients than more sophisticated nutritional apps generally do. There is no bar code scanner, searching for foods is extremely slow because the results come up without showing what you have until each one is clicked on, very time consuming. Equally annoying is search words have to be exact or nothing comes up, as it was when computers first came out. Navigation is a real pain and it tends to crash a lot. One star is too many.
I have used Fitday online for years and it is great. This app stinks. I paid $11 to get access to mobile features it still won't let me access. Rip-off. And adding foods is difficult as it constantly reloads the page as you try to choose foods.
This all would be great if it didn't constantly crash. It is also a chore to search for foods, I actually end up using the desk top version far more often.
I've been using FitDay since 2003...all my info synced without any issues. This app could use a few tweaks but for the most part, it works fine and I'm happy with it, and even more happy that there's FINALLY a FitDay app for Android. :)

App not worth installing. You can't do any of the stuff you can do free on the site
Slooooowwww! Not to mention you can't log workouts until you pay. Can't log weight til you pay. Can't add notes to your food "journal"...you guessed it...til you pay. if you can't add notes, what kind of food journal is this? Fitday was my tracker of choice when I lost 140 lbs years ago. Now they're just a shadow of their previous selves. So ashamed of them. Uninstalling.
Fitday is a "free" weight loss app. It doesn't let you do anything as simple and fundamental as record your weight unless you pay for it. It's a scam to call it free. And if apps were designed in 1998, this is what they would have looked like.
The selection of food sucks. Can only add custom food on computer.
Thought it might be a good adjunct to the internet version for quick changes to my day. Wrong. Froze. Crashed. Then wouldn't launch. Uninstalled.
This new version stinks! I have used FitDay off and on for 7 years, the app for the last year or 2. This new version is terrible. Foods are hard to search for and I cannot see where I can barcode scan my food anymore! Bummed!

I have used the website for years. The activity feature is very important, and would make this app twice as useful. I would rate 4 star with activity log( w/o premium). And 5 star if it had activity log AND ran at a more reasonable speed.
Has to enter foods multiple times before it would be saved if it saved at all.
Freezes, drags eats up battery life and is useless. It doesn't recognize an egg as food, nor eggs. WTF
I got this app for diet and nutrition tracking. I like the detailed nutritional information, I just wish there was a barcode scan feature like so many other similar apps.
Just paid 10.99 for the upgrade and can't get it to work.
4 sausage links.
Crashes all the time.
It takes forever to load and add things
This takes forever to load each time you try to add a custom food. Then it adds that item multiple times to your food list for the day. When you remove the duplicates, it removes the original entry as well. You also have to pay to track your weight... which is a basic feature and should be free. Bye, FitDay. Switching to MyFitnessPal.
Froze up HTC. Had to do a soft reset to close it down so I could uninstall it.

I tired to add custom foods on Web and cell and all it does is freeze. Can't update food log. All they want you to do is buy the higher priced packages. I used this year's ago and never had a problem. Now the site freezes when trying to add custom foods or update food log
