Inventory Setup
The Stratus Express inventory management form helps you identify the info you want to capture, including location, item number, unit of measure, serial number, expiry date and quantity available. This tool allows you to do routine physical counts of all your consumable inventory, even if it is stored in several locations. It is the information framework for the other functions, from the point of receiving the material to using or shipping it.

Receiving
Stratus Express provides an efficient tool for recording the receipt of goods. You can add items to your inventory database using the keyboard, scanner or drop down menu to fill in the details. Once the transactions are completed, the inventory is automatically adjusted to reflect the newly received items, validating the amount and kind of inventory available.

Move
Stratus Express allows you to track your inventory. No matter how small your operations, you know how easy it is to lose track of critical components or even an entire order. That will not happen when you start using these two inventory forms:

Single move for one item or package of items
Mass move for more than one
Each form describes the item number, quantity and detail of the inventory to be moved and identifies the source location and destination. This is particularly important if you operate in more than one site. For example, you might have a small warehouse or storage space away from your storefront business or place where you process your e-commerce orders.

Issue
A consumable inventory means high turnover, usually for one of three reasons:

-Product is used for your service (e.g. composite resins in a dental practice, paint in a body shop, shampoo in a hair salon)

-Product is processed to become part of something else (e.g. chains for custom made bicycles, motorized mini propellers for children’s toys, shoulder pads for custom dressmaking)

-Product is shipped to customer

In each case, when the product is removed from your inventory, you record the transaction on the Stratus Express issue form. The database then automatically adjusts so you still have a real time view of inventory available.
