I Congreso Andaluz de Salud Pública Veterinaria
El I Congreso Andaluz de Salud Pública Veterinaria nace con la intención de aportar al veterinario que cuida la salud colectiva, bien sea animal o humana, una adecuada actualización en los conocimientos más relevantes de su actividad profesional. Para ello, el Consejo Andaluz de Colegios Oficiales de Veterinarios ha aportado toda su experiencia en la organización de eventos y congresos de especialización veterinaria. Este I Congreso surge con el firme propósito de repetirse bienalmente, siendo su primera cita en la bonita ciudad de Granada a finales del próximo mes de septiembre.
Según el Informe Técnico de la Organización Mundial de la Salud nº 907 (2002), la Salud Pública Veterinaria es, “la contribución al bienestar físico, mental y social de los seres humanos que se realiza mediante el conocimiento y aplicación de las ciencias veterinarias”. Se trata de un concepto muy amplio que abarca desde la producción hasta el aseguramiento y seguridad alimentaria y medioambiental; en resumen, todas aquellas actividades profesionales que realiza el veterinario para promover, mantener y asegurar la única SALUD (One Health).
El Congreso se ha estructurado en día y medio y consta de tres sesiones plenarias monográficas seguidas de sendas mesas redondas, además de dos conferencias magistrales.
El primer plenario, que se titula FORMACIÓN Y ESPECIALIZACIÓN DE LA VETERINARIA EN SALUD PÚBLICA, tratará los aspectos más actuales del reconocimiento de la especialización veterinaria en España y en Europa y enfocará las mesas redondas hacia la formación y acreditación de organismos, entidades y profesionales y sobre los Planes de formación en Salud Pública Veterinaria.
El segundo plenario, que se titula PAPEL DEL VETERINARIO EN LA PROTECCIÓN DE LOS CONSUMIDORES: LA INFORMACIÓN DESDE LA GRANJA HASTA LA MESA, tiene como objetivo principal analizar la información alimentaria facilitada al consumidor y el Plan Nacional de control oficial de la cadena alimentaria, que centrarán estos aspectos para un análisis más detallado en las subsiguientes mesas redondas que actualizarán los alérgenos e intolerancias, las garantías sanitarias a los consumidores y la información de la cadena alimentaria.
Finalmente, el tercer plenario, TRANSMISIÓN DE ENFERMEDADES ANIMALES Y SUS PRODUCTOS Y SU TRASCENDENCIA EN SALUD PÚBLICA, estudiará aquellos aspectos más relevantes del reconocimiento y control de las principales enfermedades zoonósicas y otros peligros de actualidad, como los relacionados con la eliminación de SANDACH y residuos y las aflatoxinas.
La conferencia inaugural, El papel de la Veterinaria en la Salud Pública en Andalucía, será a cargo de Dª. Josefa Ruiz, Secretaria General de Calidad, Innovación y Salud Pública de la Junta de Andalucía, mientras que la conferencia de clausura tratará sobre Evolución del Control Oficial en Salud PúblicaVeterinaria.
El Congreso también ofrece la posibilidad de presentar comunicaciones tipo poster. Las cuatro mejores, a criterio del Comité Científico, podrán ser expuestas oralmente, de las que se elegirá y otorgará el Premio a la Mejor Comunicación I Andalusian Congress of Veterinary Public Health
I Andalusian Congress of the Veterinary Public Health created with the intention of contributing to the vet who cares collective health, either animal or human, an appropriate update on the most important of his business knowledge. Congress has been divided into day and a half and consists of three monographic plenary sessions followed by round tables paths, plus two lectures.
The first plenary, that training and specialization of veterinary titled PUBLIC HEALTH, will address the most current issues of recognition of veterinary specialization in Spain and Europe and roundtables focus towards training and accreditation agencies, entities and professionals Plans for training in Veterinary Public Health.
The second plenary, which is titled VET PAPER ON CONSUMER PROTECTION: THE INFORMATION FROM THE FARM TO THE TABLE, has as main objective to analyze food information to consumers and the National Plan for the official control of the food chain, They focus these aspects for further in subsequent roundtables updated analysis allergens and intolerance, health and consumer information guarantees the food chain.
Finally, the third plenary transmission of animal diseases and its products and its importance in public health, consider the most relevant aspects of the recognition and control of major zoonotic diseases and other dangers of today, such as those related to the elimination of animal by-products and waste and aflatoxins.
The inaugural conference, The Role of Veterinary Public Health in Andalusia, is payable by Ms. Josefa Ruiz, Secretary General of Quality, Innovation and Public Health of the Government of Andalusia, while the closing conference will discuss developments PúblicaVeterinaria Official Control in Health.
