Fox Wearable Companion App for Android
I helps me!
Excellent information. Very helpful.
A chance to help PD research without traveling to a research facility!
This updated app does not work as well as the previous app. It is not as user friendly.
It doesn't have everything but it's the best app I know of to manage my Parkinson's.
The data I am wanting to collect and report is often not collected as it should be. The program is not consistent in its data collection.
This is a great tool that measures your tremors sleep patterns reminds you on your medication as well as other very helpful pd reminders and ideas.
This latest version is fun and encouraging for me.
I hope this helps PD patients down the road. Thanks
The Beta testing is to discover areas where an app needs further development. Altho the app is a wonderful addition to PD research, I would have given up on app &/or Pebble if it were for private use by now. If the app worked correctly, I'd use it all the time. I love what it's suppose to do.
Great tech support!
The app does not stay connected to phone and therefore does not gather data to pass it on to Fox Research. All attempts to download have failed. Error message.......( you have no devices)
Note regarding use of required Pebble watch: if one has unilateral tremors (one side) you must wear the watch on that side to properly collect tremor data. Since the instruction book incorrectly says "Feel free to wear it on either hand", the researchers should tell us this side dependant data integrity issue.
Constantly disconnects. Now I am locked out tried everything. Reloading maybe a glitch with this phone?
Should expanded to allow edit of time stamp to allow editing catchup
A nice app, easy to follow menu. But the "package" (with the linked Pebble watch) must be evaluated in the context of being an early, pilot project related to gathering and managing basic data on Parkinson's. I'm assuming the sensor/data interpretation capability will change rapidly. Mine doesn't pick up minor tremors. As noted by others, doesn't provide the user much detail about activities.
Wearable for Parkinson's research
Works and helpful
Love it!
