Canvas Parent

It only works immediately after I install it. After closing and restarting it only shows a white screen. Same thing happens on my wife's phone. In the brief periods of functionality it is mostly unusable. It isn't an app, more like a crappy web browser. Everything is laid out poorly. If I rotate my phone for a better view it logs me out.

If it's telling me my son hasn't gotten a grade on an assignment yet, when the web version clearly shows he has, then this is a useless app. Other canvas app says the same thing!

Canvas parent is, to be honest, by far the best canvas app ever.

School domain not found. Useless junk app. Yep, Dojo is better! Doesn't appear the creators give a rats butt to read the reviews or reply to ways to improve/fix app issues.

Set up was easy and great tool. Your student version is awesome but this is good to keep up to date on my student.

Horrible app. Most teachers don't even use it. And it doesn't really explain much. Dojo much better app. I liked it because we could respond to the postings and you could ask question's on the spot. I like to be able to communicate with teachers. I know it's a while different world in Middle School. So I may just delete app.... It causes me stress.

The app wouldn't allow me to search my child's school and even though I have a username and password online it didn't recognize it through the app. Such a waste of time.

I feel disappointed. The app don't allow me to accept the district of my kids school. Either nothing happens where I press the next button to continue. Horrible app

Pointless. I have two kids in the canvas system yet it says I have no students associated with my canvas account. Screwy. Why have it at all if the regular canvas app seems to do the job?

Had to uninstall, and reinstall multiple times - still doesn't work. It used to work pretty well, the problem started today.

Too many issues, critical application dealing with kids education system. This should have tested well before rolling out.

It helps me keep my son on task, which is not an easy thing to do. Great app!

Doesn't work. Can see my child's school but nothing happens when I press Next. Fail.

Being able to change the login without uninstalling the app would be a great feature.

Aside from all the server and login issues... As user types in password, why on earth would the password display in keyboard's auto-correct suggest list? How can we trust the system's security when something so simple gets overlooked? I can imagine it's effortless for hackers to get in.

This used to work, sort of. Now, even though my parent account works fine on the web it says I don't have any students associated with my account. Bollocks. I'm not going through the sign up process multiple times. As a teacher myself, the fact that the parent app doesn't work causes issues with parent communication. Parents are rightfully frustrated when they can't easily access their kids' information. Fix this!

As of now cant get it to work. Had to create an account although I already habe one and am able to log in on-line (they appear to not be connected). Now it wont let me select the district even though it appears when I start typing it in.

It keeps revoking my access to my daughter every day. I hate that I have to keep adding her. I thought this app made it easier to see what my child is doing at school. But it just makes me mad.

It requires each student to log in on your phone, even though you are already associated with them on the web UI. By itself, that's not a major issue... Except that you have to do that nearly every day. The student login doesn't stay so you can't check anything again until you get them to log in again. If you know their password, great.. but if you don't or they change it this app is useless.

What's the point of an app that won't even let you put in your child's school. It did the first day then it kicked me completely out and now it won't do anything I even deleted it and put it back on.

Both canvas apps don't show any grades. The Web version does. Maybe it's how the district enters them but for my student these apps are useless beyond syllabus and assignments both of which are better done in the Web version.

Knowing your child's GPA would be very useful. Please include that in the future update . Thank you

Have downloaded several times and still get invalid domain when entering school! This app is obsolete!! Don't waste your time downloading because it won't work!

"Unable to access domain". All you get is that message when trying to add student. You aren't redirected to a page where you can get help. You are just stuck on the same page. Useless app.

App never allowed me to access child's grades. Continuously said I'm not authorized to get the info.

Won't recognize student school domain. I would absolutely give it a 5 star if I could access it. I know the domain, I also know we have parent access.
