eCups

eCups makes use of the phones microphone to simulate a measuring cup. It works by “listening” for the sound of flowing water, then based on pre-calibrated values, display an estimate of the volume that has flowed. Just imagine, when a recipe calls for 6 cups of water, there will be no need to find a measuring cup, just turn on the tap, and read the volume of water that’s flowing in the pot.
