PocketNurse - Pill Reminder for Android
Easy to use and does what I need
Needs more alarm sounds or ability to use your own.
Love that I can keep track of dosages easily. Easy to set up too.
This app works great for 3 days and then when rogue. Stopped giving notices until one night at midnight when it decided to give me notices every 2 minutes despite no events being set. Haunted.
I would like to be able to save a course but keep it inactive. I have a complicated sick day schedule- different from the regular one, it would be nice not have to plan out and enter in the info each time when I already feel bad. Love the ability to enter notes. Would also like it if the last dose showed on the homepage.
Not gonna give it a bad rating. Perhaps the issue is me. I just couldn't figure it out. Probably my fault tho
Like it but the section where it says take with food might want to add before bed time and in the morning. Things like that as a few of my mess require I take then get right into bed as they make me sleepy
But cant do a regime of every other day with a reminder at a different time at the weekend. Sought help from devs but they havent given me a way despite having complex schedule facility.
First, I want to let you know this is a very hard to find in the Play Store. When I search on pocket nurse, I could not find it. You may want to work on whatever logic allows it to be found easily as a pill reminder. I want to give 5 stars, but there are too many quirky issues. Set up can be a pain, so maybe a how to would be helpful. When an alarm goes off, only part time does the phone bring me to your app. Other times I have to dig it up. Snozing can be a pain. On moto x2.
Since I've had surgery, I've been in over 22 pills a day, many at different time intervals. This app has helped me keep track of them all, in spite of being very drowsy. I am so very grateful. I appreciate the organization, the alerts, the system which allows to me track the exact times I've taken the meds, whether those pills are working well, and any additional notes I might have. Also, the color coding helps me a lot. I hope it works well for you too. Good luck!
But needs an hr reminder. Without having to enter it. For ex : every 8 hrs.. 12 hours etc
You just install the app and will soon know how useful it is...in routine. Chronic patients must down load this app. Inventory remainder is also an additional option....very nice.
Can be used very simply to just record times, dates, and dosage or can be used to set up reminders, record side effects, etc.
I have been looking for a medication reminder app that reminds me of missed doses once I turn the phone on - and this one does! For this very reason I give it 5* The main thing now is to work on a paid/donation version to get rid of the very annoying adverts please.
Such a great way to remember meds and vits throughout the day. I also use as an exercise and mindful meditation reminder too.
It works very well and is reliable. Thanks
Too complicated
I tried a couple of other free aps to remind me to take my post surgery meds, which were at two different intervals. I uninstalled them after much frustration. Pocket Nurse can handle multiple course and then repeat for days so you only have to set up the times once. For each day added, the time repeated. The guide was very clear.
I'm on a diet program with a wide range of herbal supplements and this app has been invaluable in helping me keep track of when I need to take what. My only complaint is that there isn't an option to have the reminders just show up in the notification panel rather than opening the app itself. I was taking an important video and it got ruined because a pill reminder went off and kicked me out of the camera app to open this app.
I liked using it,it's interface is user friendly, but surely can be better, thanks to its creators
Good app. Enjoy using it, works well. Keep up the good work.
Very useful and keeps things in order.
Works well on Sony Xperia Z3 lollipop
It no longer works. I need a reliable alarm and this isn't it any longer
It's a great app it would be even better if it told me how much medicine I had left before my next refill.
It installed 100% on my Samsung SG4, but it stops after the install and doesn't open to start. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it but the same thing keeps happening. It gets to 100%,but app refuses to open. I'm not tech savvy so that's my limit on tryn to get it started. Have a great holiday, sharon
Perfect for managing medication. Would like to be able to manage my enteral feeds and clearer advice on how to use the app i.e. medicine inventory.
I LOVE that the Developers listen to my/and others who need this application with my pill inventory. I take 23 pills each day. Some refills are 30 days, some 90. NOW.... If we can get rid of the pesky advertising. Yes, I will pay for the app.
Muy buena aplicación para recordarte cada medicina y por el tiempo que aplique
Good app, like that you can have different courses so if you need to switch Med dosages for a bit you can just switch profiles. Also gives you a spot to put down why you skipped a dose. Overall good app, just wish they had different reminder notification sounds.
The best medication reminder u will ever find on a phone or tablet

It's help me a lot.....good app. Thank you...

The app was absolutely fantastic until it randomly stopped reminding me about my pills for no discernable reason. Uninstalled.
I enjoying the setup. Missing what I consider a MANDATORY function. INVENTORY TRACKING. I have a chronic pain condition. I need over 20 doses, or tablets per day. Some meds come by mail in 90 day supplies. Some by local pharmacy in 30 day supplies. One, local in TEN day supply. I'm using other apps, with proper, necessity, inventory tracking for us unfortunate high volume medication users.
Takes 3 keys to take a medicine. Why not just one? App pops up every minute, even if I've taken all doses. No alarm sound no matter what setting I use.
Nice app

I have watched the video 2x and worked for over an hour to figure out how to just enter one medicine. I love that it's free but there should be instructions. If you can help me I would love to change my rating.
