Difficult to open snd Stay open. Totally unreliable
At last Balance Peek is supported and Check Deposit is a lot easier to use too.
This app and the new website are so slow and unreliable (how many times will I have to hit refresh before it actually loads my transactions?) that after being generally happy with secuwa and Inspirus for well over a decade, we are going to a different credit union.
When it first launched, this app was only marginally worse than the old one. Slower, more steps to get to anything I used, but it was usable. Now I can't even deposit checks since the latest update broke the camera
Non-intuitive interface, many more steps between actions, slow...everything about this app is a downgrade from the previous version. I would give kudos to the fingerprint password recognition, but that doesn't work either.
New version of the app is a definite downgrade, along with the website remodel. After years of excellent service this is a joke. You had to re-enable your bill pay transactions and now cannot even pay your bills - the submit function doesnt work. You can't deposit checks. The great service received from School Employees Credit Union disappeared with the name change.
Clunky and slow. Old app was way better.
Very rarely rate an app. The previous app worked well. This new one is slow and crashes. I can now not open the app at all on my tablet even after restart and reinstall. Please fix.
I have installed this app twice and it won't open. Update 5/4 Still can't even open the app. Also can't access the website via my tablet. Makes it almost impossible to do my banking. May be time to change banks. Service has gone down hill!

***Some point app disappeared from the folder I put it in.... AND it won't open now****App layout fine but the having to relink with Mint access sucks!!!

The app won't launch and the text banking doesn't work either.
As of May 7 the app opens and immediately closes.

This is a great improvement with ways to personalize your experience. I love the easy ways to pay bills and transfer money. Just a few clicks and it's done. I do see a lot of negative reviews about not knowing this change was coming, but I received notices through email, Facebook, and in the mail over the past few months.
This does not appear to be an improvement. You have too many clicks to get anywhere. Slow to load and slow to move between screens. Bill don't total, have to hit logout, lots of steps in bill pay. Between this crummy app and the loss of ability to connect to investment accounts in the full version, it may be time to look for a new credit union.
This app is worse than the other one. And why didn't we get notified about the new app change? Instead I got to be horrified by an error message and assumed I'd been hacked. Not cool.
BECU, here we come! Nice, Inspirus, for locking me out of my account when I need to xfer $ to pay mortgage. And you make us download a new app w/ a broken password login? Magical experience. Locked me out. Sat on hold for 18 minutes. I give up. You win. Your rebranding, location move and leadership in member services are a death knell trifecta.
Works just fine. Changing up a financial interface is always a challenge! You worked hard on timing to complete this BEFORE the end of the month. I too was locked out but it was an easy phone call. Problem solved!!
For ordinary account checks, etc, It seems to work great so far. I was worried a little by all the negative comments, and have only used it once to check balances and transactions. Worked great for me. Will have to try the other features later.
Why you had to change the mobile banking in the first place is a mystery. If you do change can you please consult some members first. There is no reason to have a full new download when an update is sufficient. At least have the new download available on the old app. You also made it less user friendly by having the pull down menu instead of quick launch icons for different things. Overall decrease in loading speed and increase in time to access with the new security steps. Thank goodness I did it first on pc. This works but is no improvement over the old.
The former app was fast, this one is slow and requires me to move through several screens. This app crashes everytime i try to deposit a check. Down grade
No notification that the app changed and when I downloaded the new one I couldn't get it to work. Useless and what a hassle!
It's slower than previous version and somehow it lets me sign in by touch even though it didn't process the fingerprint recognition before.
Depositing checks is much more fiddly with this new app. Pretty annoying. I might have to start depositing my checks through BECU atms again, which is frustrating. I hate how every time they change something, they make it so that your password has to be more and more 'secure'.
This is a definite upgrade from the old app. Loading speed is comparable if not better, interface is crisp and clean. I'm still not sold on the website update, but the app is A-okay by me.
I have to reinstall it every time I use it on my phone. This update is terrible, just terrible, the app is bad, the web UI is bad, it's all bad, all the way down.
Yes it was annoying to have the old app suddenly changed but still a great bank. Get over it people.
S-l-o-w. I appreciate the update, and extra security, but everything takes a lot longer to do than the old app. However check depositing is better.
It's like you want your customers to move to a new credit union. Everytime you try and go back, it logs you out. Harder to use accounts.

It sucks! Bring back the old one!
I expect much better, I hope this isn't a step down from SECUWA. A quick fix is a must.
I love the new app. It's crisp and easy to navigate.
