iHunter Alberta gives hunters and outdoor enthusiasts a new view into Alberta's wildlife management units. By overlaying the WMUs on top of Google maps, users can see their current location and which WMU they are in. Dive deeper into specific WMUs to see which big game, bear, cougar, and game bird seasons are open. Contribute to the map by adding your own waypoints to keep track of hunting spots, past animal harvests, and landowner contact information.

- View the Alberta "Green Area" boundaries (area of the province that is primarily public land). Note that there is some lease and private land within this area.
- View over 25000 Pipeline Agreements, Utility right-of ways and other easements that are considered Vacant Public Land when not being developed

Love the app but it needs a way to allow importing coordinates in normal format. Every app I have used aside from this one will create a coordinate like xx.xxxxxxx,-xxx.xxxxxxx. When copying this to go to the location in iHunter, first it forces the creation of a waypoint, and secondly it can't handle pasting of that location into either the GPS or the lon-lat section. It requires the user to go back and forth copying parts of it and pasting them into iHunter. Why can't the GPS coords page handle pasting the entire string in?

This has the most value of all my hunting tools outside of my rifle. The landowner maps are a must have upgrade for where you hunt, but the basic functionality of this app is worth far more than the purchase price.

Love it. Everything at your fingertips. Easy to navigate, easy on the eyes, lightning fast tech support. I purchased the boundary add on. Tried the pro tools on trial and were great. Anyone who hunts a great deal every year or all year this app is great. Land owner info and contact available everywhere. Info on unleased land, regs, seasons, species, draws, maps from 3 map providers. Definitely worth the purchase. Love it!

Alberta zone 516 South-East (Pelican Lake). Shows up on the map as a regular territory. In real, all the area marked down with "Indian Reservation" signs. Total BS.

Not worth the price. Coverage is patchy and incomplete. I cancelled my subscription after the first day since it was of no help in the area I was hunting. Wish I could get a refund as I have no use for this app. A set of free regs will do the same thing.

I've been hunting for many year using paper maps, laminated land ownership maps, looking up grl's, carrying the newest regs in the truck, etc. Finally someone turned there brain on and made a simple, easy to use all in one app!! Extremely happy with all the options made available to us "hunters". The creators are quick to respond to questions and always looking for input. Excited to see how this app progresses!
