Die App hat sich über die Jahre nicht wirklich verbessert. Wenn man eine Karte über das Messegelände haben möchte, sollte man lieber zu den alten Papier Flyern greifen, welche vor Ort verteilt werden.

Nice app, can figure out most of the options with trial and error, shame it's not in English too

It's a great app, but one bug is that when I want to see an exhibitor on the map, it crashes the app.

Although the app is mostly in german, most of the important info can be decyphered, but a language option would be nice. The map has been somewhat fixed now. Pressing the back button goes back to the previous menu which is slightly annoying. The show on map option does not work. To sum up the app is OK, but it could be better considering that gamescom is such a large event and an app like this would be really usefull to the majority of the visitors. It needs work.

The map is cool, but makes the app crash too often. The map tags are tiny and hard to read. If you search an exhibitor it doesn't say what they exhibit. It's mostly in German. At least the product listing has thumbnails, but once you select one and "Go To Map" with the interactive button thing, it just displays the map, and not the actual location. TL;DR: don't bother, get a magazine at the entrance.

Not a single schedule of the events (as in the webpage). And most of the important info in German.. So wish you luck

Useless to me, everything is in german.

Note that most of the negative reviews are from 2012. This new version is a really nice application. It has an event calendar, a list of all exhibitors and a really gorgeous 3D map where you can locate said exhibitors in the huge Koelnmesse. You can tap on the different halls to get a detailed floor layout of each hall and info on where/what every booth contains. What is extra nice is that you can easily bookmark things from the event calendar and put them in your own calendar. My only complaint is that the application so far is 90% in English, but the descriptions of events and games are still in German. If they fix this (and I expect they will soon enough as the app has just launched), it is definitely worth 5 stars. Another plus is that all event data gets cached: You don't need an active internet connection to use the app, ideal for people from outside Germany.

Worst event app I've ever used. The 3D map is a pointless waste of space, useful for the developers to take fancy looking screenshots of to put on app posters at the event, but nothing else. Unsolicited push messages make it an instant uninstall. A total embarassment.

This is in no way a 'app', all it does is open a web page... so, while at gamescom where the internet is at best horrid, this so-called app is useless.

Read some negative reviews, still thought I'd give it a shot. Well there's not much more to say as the app closed itself every time I tried to open it. I'd recommend saving images from the Gamescom site to your phone for later use. That would be far more useful than this "app".

I donwloaded this app because Gamescom Facebook recommended it, but they also showed pictures of a map. I can't find a map in here... besides, it's part english, part german.

This is not an app! It simply displays a WebView containing a mobile version of the gamescoms website. Please put more effort in building your Android apps! I would not recommend dowanloading this.

Useless piece of crap, crashes constantly and lacks important info

Karte ist gar nicht benutzerfreundlich und nicht übersichtlich. Sehr langsam und wurde nicht auf andere display grössen getestet.

It's a great app, but one bug is that when I want to see an exhibitor on the map, it crashes the app.

When I try to search something, the app stops. And it would be nice if you could add information about the exhibitors.

unusable map, doesnt tell which building you are looking at, takes long to start first and after update, back button closes app no inapp back button

Der Hersteller reagiert schnell auf Feedback, und rüstet Features nach. Am Ende der gamescom haben wir dann eine 5-Sterne-App für das nächste Jahr. ;)
