40 Hadits - Hadist Nawawiyah

من حفظ على أمتي أربعين حديثا من أمر دينها بعثه الله يوم القيامة فى زمرة الفقهاء ولعلماء

“Barangsiapa yang menghafal atas umatku 40 hadits daripada (hadis yang) berkenaan dengan agama mereka, niscaya Allah akan membangkitkannya pada hari kiamat dalam golongan para fuqaha’ dan ‘ulama.”

Dalam suatu riwayat lain: “Niscaya Allah akan membangkitkannya sebagai seorang faqih dan ‘alim.”

Dalam riwayat Abu al-Darda’: “dan telah adalah aku (yaitu Rasulullah) pada hari kiamat menjadi orang yang memberikan syafa‘at dan saksi kepadanya”.

Dalam riwayat Ibnu Mas‘uud : “Dikatakan kepadanya (orang yang menghafal 40 hadist) masuklah engkau dari pintu syurga yang engkau mau”.

Dalam riwayat Ibnu ‘Umar : “niscaya dia ditulis termasuk dalam golongan ‘ulama’, dan dibangkitkan dalam golongan para syuhada’ ”.
