Roaming Control Trial

On my galaxy s4 it works right up until I start roaming then the program crashes I might pay for it if they if the problem.....I'm on Verizon

Meets a real need, by protecting you from being bounced onto roaming with the wring network, thus protecting the user from huge data roaming charges. Nice app serving a unique need.

Too much settings!

If you are in Italy and you want to limit your charges for every time your phone switches network from 3 to Tim, do not buy this app, it works very poorly!

I love the app and I am very sorry to learn that I can't use it anymore. Do you foresee any support for Roaming Control for Marshmellow?

It wont let me access any network option other than "no network"

I used the trial App for about 4 days to make sure it worked as advertised. I was happy with the way it was doing exactly what it advertised, allowing me to use my phone as normal when connected to the networks of my choice, and no functionality when not on those networks. So I paid for the app. Worked fine for about two weeks... now it does not work at all. I enable a rule. (in my case - National Roaming) - tap phone off... tap okay.... come back to the rule, and the phone is enabled again. By toggling the rule itself (Enable rule box) - and then back on, I was able to get the "phone off" to stick... but it still doesn't work. Still getting texts, and able to send texts while roaming. Kind of defeats the purpose of the app. Considering I spent what seemed like a fair price to stop runaway roaming charges... I just checked with my carrier and already have over $10 from text alone this past week... This feels like some stupid bait and switch scam. Super disappointed.

Hello, I tried your roaming control trial but found that the app needed to be opened in order to make it change the phone's settings. Not the automated roaming control I was hoping for. This was on galaxy ace, gingerbread 2.3.3 Will uninstall but hope this is fixed so that I can try it again.

I would just recommend downloading something to change your prl get a verizon mod prl 60007 best one flash and bam better signal and get rev a network at 3~4mbs free and if you want to change back to sprint for 4g or anything just go to phone setting update prl and bam back on sprint. Does not prevent from roaming, just block calls and data (that already is in android settings)

Works fine until my phone goes to a roaming tower. Then it crashes and never recovers.

As another mentioned, if you know how to enable this please let us know.

Great for people who live in the country border with plans that include international roaming calls but no international data. Avoid those data roaming charges. Great App !

I've not gotten this working yet with my phone but the support is great. Prompt responses and the developer is helping me get this setup.

If I only used one sim this would be perfect however there are special rules for my other sim so this really doesn't do anything for me since the rules for my home sim contradict the rules for my other. If this were sim dependant, that'd be awesome. But it's not.

This app doesn't work very well on my phone. I'm still paying for national roaming but just for small amounts. It seems that my phone goes on roaming just for a few seconds and then the app stops the roaming but my provider still charge me a couple of cents every day because of that

Update!!!!paid version don't wrk well. Free It has really helped my service. I. cAn actually use my phone. Before sprint service has been so crazy it was almost pointless to have. I've only had it for about 6 month s now and first tower work then capacity issues. what next. sprint has bn arou d long enouvh tbat it should be one of the best out there!!! Wth? When in roaming I couldn't use my s3 at all. This slowest me to us it in roam. I feel like I have service again. Yeah. Going to buy the pro.

Does not warn you after trial period! Then you just pay heavily for roaming...

Running stock Gingerbread on a Droid 3, it kept enabling my 3g and data sync! Uninstalled and problem went away.

It changes to roaming when I haven't even moved but I guess phone signal does too. Very annoying but practical seeing as I am next to the Canadian border. I'll maybe see a difference when the next bill comes in.

A must have application for people travelling

Program blocks 3g/edge connection on android 4.0.3. But on 2.3 works well. Phone is not in roaming yet.

Thought it worked, my data roaming error that cuts off my phone srvc for a min or two has returned. I was getting ready to pay for upgrade too. :-(

Unfortunately my phone lacks the option to enable "National Data Roaming" in the settings, and since I'm using an MVNO (Telenet) with a network ID (MNC) other then the SIM, the phone always thinks its roaming and the only way to get data is to enable data roaming which is risky when travelling abroad. The only negatives I have are that this is only a trial, and that you need to pay for the regular version. And possibly that it only sees the primary SIM in my dual-SIM phone (S7562). But since that happens to be the SIM with the data connection in my case, it does not bother me.
