TaoMix 2 - Relax, Sleep & Focus with Nature Sounds

Love this new version. Its great for my meditation sessions. There was a little glitch yesterday... Had trouble with loss of sound, reinstalled, and it was good again. Unfortunately, I lost my downloaded stuff, but a quick email exchange, and they were immediately restored to my account. (Thanks guys!) Hopefully, this won't happen again. I guess I'm willing to wait out a bug fix or two for this app.

Update2 - great job! Plays alongside music again! Awesome and rating back to 5 stars. Developer who stays with it! --- Update1 - roaming circle can now be stopped, nice job. Increased review back to 4. If can play during Spotify or other music like original version, I'll go back to 5. Thanks --- Help! Long time user of the first version and loved it. New looks promising but we need volume control and a way to stop if we would like to and lock the roaming sound circle. Also slick feature from first version was you could play TaoMix AND Spotify, but now ToaMix stops othe music when it plays. Ruins music in ToaMix bliss. Please fix. Thanks

Loved the first version, and decided to support the second version, and am not disappointed. Would like to know if you will support Chromecast in the future. I have audio connected throughout my property, and this would be a great addition to my ambiance.

Loved it! Helps with studying and falling asleep so it has five stars from me.

Love it but please add typing on keyboard and clicking. Make a sitting in the office pack please. Also add owls

The original TaoMix app was excellent. This second person is superb with an expanded list of sounds and better interface.

Great update! Hoping that my purchase of all packs includes all the future releases as well.

I really like the sounds of Taomix 2 over 1. They seem to have a richer sound, like they are better quality recordings. That being said, I prefer the menu for selecting sounds from 1 over 2. In 1 I could select the category 'Rain' and it would show all the different rain sounds I could choose from. It's not as easy in 2. It is still a very good noise generating app that I would recommend to anyone.

I LOVE the app and the work the devs put into it. On the downside i don't like having to download the sound packs separately and i would also prefer there to be an option to view all the sounds in a single list rather than having to bounce around looking for them. For example i was searching for a certain bird sound and couldn't remember if it was in summer, rainforest, Autumn stroll or what. Also label what the binaural beats do. Which one is for sleep which is for concentration?

I like new UI, it feels like Material Design, but with some kick. I also the new themed sound scapes, but I miss the structure of the sound catalog used in the 1.x releases: all wind noises in one place, all water noises in one place, etc.

Ive been waiting for number two to come out for months. So excited its here. Whether it be studying, working, writing, taomix brings you elsewhere to relax. Id recommened this app to ANYONE

Nice. Used the original for years and still do (partially cos I just have sound scapes in there that I simply like and can launch in a tap or two). I do like the sounds in this one a bit more most of the time but the organisation in this app is far worse - can never find the sounds I want as they are chucked all over the place instead of in sensible categories like the original.

I love the old taomix so much. In taomix 2 the new added music is great BUT i missed the old minimalistic style: 1. simple icons not fotographs which are so blend and ugly! 2. Work simply: in old vision i can use long press do lots of things, i don't need click buttons and buttons to open different menus. Hope devs can do some changes taomix is till way better than any of other relax sound mixers.

I go to sleep with this... it eases my mind.

Excellent app... I've been waiting for this one on Android for a long time. I have had the original version for a couple of years and had emailed the developer with some suggestions. He responded quickly and told me that there would be this new version eventually for Android. I couldn't have been happier when he emailed to say it was released. I've been spreading the good word about this app for a long time and will continue to do so with this new version. Thank you also for making it all free at launch!

I loved the first Taomix and i love this one even more. Beautiful sounds and the ready made mixed are great. I recommend Taomix to every insomniac I meet, it's given me my life back now I'm finally sleeping. Okay I do still wake in the night but pop the earphones back in and usually within 10 mins I've drifted off again

Not that great. The sounds are limited. I have always used the oscillating fan in the previous app and it isn't an option on this version. So, I tried the thunder and rain. The pause between looping is VERY noticeable and distracting. I set the timer for 7 hrs and 30 minutes. It stopped completely after only a few hours. The biggest issue with the previous app is that it drains the battery by continuing to run in the background when closed out and not in use. This app appears to also drain the battery more than I would like for a simple sound app. I will have to start looking at other options that are more battery friendly.

I use this almost every night to help me fall asleep. The sound quality is great and I love layering the aounds to my own tastes. The only complaint i have is that the new interface with all the sounds in different places is a bit cumbersome.

App look is improved and looks less like an iOS afterthought and more like an app developed for android. Does crash suddenly on both android N and the I beta. Also will stop playing when leaving the app and I have a difficult time playing it again. App noises are also spread out into different scenes rather than grouped by type. To find wind through the trees you have to remember that it's in the "sleeping in a tent" scenario. Not very intuitive and seems to be more of a way to charge for more sounds rather than the original which had a paid version that unlocked them all.

Great app. I've been using the first version of tao mix for almost a year, and I think it would be nice to have some of the features of the previous version back. - it would be great to enable and disable the autofocus, so I can play other sounds together with this app - it is nice that the sounds have been organised into "environments" because the app suggests you how to create a nice mix. However, in this way it is also hard to find a specific sound. It would be nice to have a list of all the sounds as well, sorted by "water", "birds" and so on, like in the previous version.

There are issues, specifically no sound control is the big one for me, but also the name of the specific sound selected isn't obvious. However, the concept behind the app and the overall quality mean I'm still happy to give it 5*.

Nice new version with a few flaws that I expect will be corrected. Nice set of sounds and better looking than the previous version. Sound quality is high. Unable to exit the app. This needs to be fixed.

The first version was inventive and beautiful and this just steps that up another notch. For that extra star I'd still like binaural sounds and Chromecast integration but that's just me being picky.

Loved the first one, love this one, so thank you. I was able to easily recreate the mix I like best on the first app. But now, my mix includes a few extra touches thanks to the improved features. I was also able to do so quickly so I'd say this app is fairly simple to understand. Without TaoMix, I normally take a little over an hour to fall asleep. With TaoMix, it only takes me between 5 - 10 minutes. Also, I'm digging the new sounds and the add your own feature. Awesome job!

Amazing quality of sounds, the developer really outdid himself with this version. I have been using the original for years now and it really helps me fall asleep some nights. Keep up the good work!

After using the first edition, this version seems limited. There are few instructions, so I felt like I was bumbling through to figure it out. There is no in-app volume control that I could find. When I turn my screen off, the app closes. I couldn't find any way to go to settings in hopes of remedying these issues. If you were going for a more streamline version, you accomplished that, but, too me, you left out some important features, including good instructions.

If you liked the first one you'll like this one. I miss all the sounds being on one list. Also the circle that "receives" the sound is difficult to stop.
