Ever since I updated the app it doesn't work at all on my phone. I use it on my kindle fire now, the unupdated version, and it works just perfectly fix the problem and I'll definitely give it more stars

At first glance, i see this app looks quite promising, but you guys disappointed me. 2 times required to download (took about 6-7 mins hanging device without doing anything because of download dialog) but you only let me use 1 lesson, the remains are locked.

Seeing reviews posted over at least the last month about an update killing the app... Can't you at least give back the previous version while you bugcheck the new update? I really would like to try this one :(

I bought the upgrade for this and a few other innovative apps during a sale. They are okay but rather than a standalone app their apps need you to log in to the website every time. There are also links on the home page of the app to site functions you won't get unless you take a paid subscription. I would rather it was its own separate thing to be honest. The content itself is good and 2500 words is decent if you're just starting out. Especially from a trusted source. Audio is nice, ability to turn off romaji/kana/kanji is great. Worth a go if you need somewhere to start on your vocabulary.
