What are users saying about mOffice - Outlook sync

M70%
by M####:

Not the easiest app to work with. Wish it would allow for easier access to separate events that are close in time when looking at the daily calendar and also make separate event blocks bigger and easier to read. If I could find an app that synced better with MS Outlook and was easier to read I'd switch.

L70%
by L####:

Really need to be able to order and prioritize my daily TASKS. Tasks do not sync in the same order they appear in outlook so even if I sit down at my computer to prioritize, it doesn't show up on the mobile device I carry with me all day.

M70%
by M####:

Works well with my Android phone but Not with android tablet. Spent a lot of time with the Moby Synapse folks and sent my tablet back to Samsung twice but no one could make it run. Get a message on the tablet that says m Office has stopped. Weird.

I70%
by I####:

Would rate higher but it lacks even the simplest widget. I have to open the application just to see my tasks and calendar I need something I can just look at to determine my next meeting or task that I still need to complete. Galaxy nexus 4.2.2

F70%
by F####:

Saved my butt long ago when Samsung abandoned Outlook users. Allows you to sync Outlook with Samsung Galaxy. Must have. Using it on my 3rd phone since Blackberry which was the master way back. Use Contact Pro application in play store to fix bug in Samsung Galaxy phones that truncates the notes section of contacts for full readability and editing. Samsung again refused to improve Contacts on their phones after repeated requests from users. That app does it and is another must.

P70%
by P####:

I had trouble with kies duplicating appointments on my Android calendar when I tried to sync with Outlook on my pc. Moffice syncs my calendar, contacts, and notes perfectly. It can sync pictures, but I don't use that function. Occasionally, it will crash when I try to search events in history, but otherwise it's pretty solid. I really like the agenda view. -- Raised to 5 stars. No crashes since last update!

A70%
by A####:

My biggest concern is sync with MS Office / Outlook and this does pretty well. A couple of times I've had recurring appointments duplicate, which is annoying to say the least! But I've never lost an appointment or contact which has been an issue with past smartphone apps.

I bought this app. It is great for syncing my outlook calender to my phone. I can not get some of the other features to work. Most importantly being able to sms from my desk top when in the office. I have tried for several months to contact tech support. I opened tickets on their Web site. They have never gotten back to me. It bothers me to know that you can buy something and they give no support

M70%
by M####:

I have used this app and corresponding software. Everything worked pretty well but when I upgraded to Windows 10 and an Android update that ended. The calender only displays the month view which is illegible. Emailed customer support, they asked some questions, said they would get back to me. That was two months ago. Now it only serves to sync my contacts.

I like it! Been using it everyday with great results. Still figuring out certain things but haven't really played with it other than syncing phone lists and appointments.

P70%
by P####:

It's great app when syncing with Office Outlook. I rarely pay for apps, but found this one to be worth the investment. Would like more options in the calendar like colors, layout and fonts. Sometimes it's hard to read at a glance with the all one color, light green.

LG V-10. A little difficult to learn, and I can't get it to work with my tablet and phone at the same time. Using it with one device works great. It syncs my Outlook calendar on my desktop with my phone great.

O70%
by O####:

Haven't been able to synch with laptop for over a year, USB or WiFi. No problem with desktop. Severely limits app utility. No tech help (re states instructions).

N70%
by N####:

I have been using this program for over a year and have not looked back very easy to use. Have used it in extreme cases conditions ( loaded a lot of data through it )and have not had any problems

M70%
by M####:

I have heen using it for three years. I believe the software is very useful and tech support is helpful. Most of time, the trouble was caused by the cell phone glitches. Watch your bill for accidently billing twice on the annual subscription charge.

M70%
by M####:

Definitely a good and working app. Using paid version if this app successfully since September 2013 for synching with Samsung Note 2. They responded to issues very fast at that time. Recently changed phone to Lenovo Vibe K4 Note and it shows 'Error in Synch' at the end of synching process. On subsequent attempt it comes back saying 'Failed to prepare data from device.' Have sent them several emails with error screenshot since December 2016 and have also posted the issue in community page of their website. They have not yet responded. This is very surprising.

M70%
by M####:

Pictures, music and files never synced. Contacts, calendar and tasks synced until I went to Outlook 2013. Then the calendar completely disappeared and I only get sync error messages. All I get from tech support is continuous questions with no solutions. I even wasted money on the most recent upgrade and it still did not work.

M70%
by M####:

Pretty much stopped working when I upgraded to Office 2013. Others having the same problem. Apparently support no longer exists. Save you money.

Q70%

This is something most apps can't claim. I simlpy want a desktop interface and to sync to Outlook and this does the trick. A big thank you to the developers. ...then it stopped working *sigh

F70%

Why don't events always show on the calendar? Needs scheduled syncing. Needs proper task on windows 7. Annoying blob in middle of my desktop. I bought this app, there is so little good choice for outlook sync. I miss my Nokia, it was so very much better. Automatically sync with bluetooth when in range. Perfect. Please fix this. It's like going back 10 years.

Z70%

This app syncs OK most of the time, but the major flaw in it is that on your android phone when you want to add a calendar appointment the only adds that pop up are for a task, which includes email, phone call, and such. And the customer support might as well send it via USPS as it is slower than hell.

Z70%
by Z####:

I've been using this app for about a year and on an HTC Evo 4G and a Google Nexus 5. Never had problems syncing calendar or contacts with Outlook 2010. This is the only PIM syncing app you'll need!

Z70%
by Z####:

It worked initially then started replicating calendar entries and creating random details in contacts. Worse than useless, waste of money and time.

Z70%
by Z####:

I can finally get my Outlook calendar on my phone! You can sync from Outlook to Phone or Phone to Outlook. However i wish they'd offer individual event options for conflicts. Like "For this event, would you like to keep event from Phone or Outlook?"

H70%
by H####:

This app synchronizes Outlook 2003 on my laptop with my new Galaxy S6 phone. Our syncs the contracts and the calendar. I am so thankful for this app because if I didn't have it I don't know how I would have everything stay in sync. It works well.

The key test of a product lies in the support you receive when there is a problem. I purchased this product in 2013 to sync Outlook with my Samsung phone. It has done the job seamlessly. I sync contacts, calendar, tasks and notes. The trouble starts if you need support. I logged tickets for issues twice. Both were ignored. Do not buy if you expect ANY after sales support. The spec says you can sync with your Android calendar. You can only sync with the mOffice calendar. Not compatible with Outlook 2016.

H70%

Innovation Technology Inc.'s "Mobisynapse mOffice" will only sync with your default Outlook data file, which, if you have MS Exchange installed on your computer, will necessarily be the Exchange ".ost" file. Even if you do not use MS Exchange, mOffice will only sync with your default ".pst" data file. An upgrade to fix this limitation was promised more than two years ago, but never materialized. (It appears that Peng Zhao, Innovation Technology Inc.'s former Founder and CEO, and still its Agent for Service of Process, lost interest in Mobisynapse on or about July of 2014 and has since moved on to other endeavors.) If you still want to use mOffice and have all of your contacts in your default Outlook data file, then you will probably be okay. Otherwise, purchase a different app that allows you to choose which Outlook data file(s) to sync with. Also, I think that it's fair to say that you should not expect any future upgrades or fixes to mOffice. Its current version 3.7.7 was released on November 1, 2013, and has not been upgraded since.

Wouldn't import contacts plus problems syncing Calendar items. They only offer email support and my trial expired before I could get it working properly, so I am still looking.

Does a great job of synchronizing our Android phones with Outlook. I would be lost without it.

Synchs Android with Outlook. Works very well, and when I recently lost my phone and needed to resolve the data to my new phone, everything synched perfectly.

Used outlook app on my phone for quite a while and loved being able to sync with my lap top so I could keep track of my appointments and to do list anywhere then out of the blue the app quit working on my phone. Have uninstalled and re-installed several times but it will no longer open at all. I am very disappointed as I loved this app and had no problems or complaints until it quit.

If you're loading this so that you can try to sync Outlook to your phone using mobisynapse, forget it you'll never get it to work. However my over 1200 contacts have now turned to 2500 contacts so great fun sorting that out, one by one. Calendars won't sync at all though. In case you haven't guessed POS stands for 'piece of' not positive.

Q70%

The key test of a product lies in the support you receive when there is a problem. I purchased this product last year in order to sync Outlook with my Samsung Galaxy S3. I was able to seamlessly sync contacts, calendar entries and notes between Outlook and my phone. The trouble starts if you have to transfer the software to a new computer. After my old laptop died, I installed the software on a new machine and got an error saying that the activation limit has been reached. These things happen. I logged a ticket with Mobisynapse and so far, they have failed to respond. They also failed to respond to emails. Transferring licences from one computer to another should be a painless experience. The software works beautifully but there appears to be no support whatsoever when things go wrong. I can't rely on this programme. It fails the support test.

It seems the developer has disappeared..........i hope they are all right ..... I use this progran to sync my outlook notes, calendar + tasks to my android phone. Works quite well. I am a long term blackberry user + this is pretty much what i had on the BB + in many ways better. There were a few (and still are a few) minor annoyances that they have done + are doing a great job of updating + fixing + it definately does what it is supposed to do - sync your data with outlook so you have it on your phone.

I am very pleased with this product as the interface tool to keep outlook on my pc sync'd to android based calendars on my phone and tablet. I did have difficulty using Android calendar but moffice is fine on both Android devices. Sync is easy via wifi. No matter where I record changes, easy to keep all three devices sync'd. Would add a star (6?) if the company added a cloud sync feature so changes transfer when made.

Q70%
by Q####:

I purchased the product Feb 2014 Would have loved it if it hadn't quit working after a month or so. Apparently there is a problem with the new Android update but other than letting me know that the company does not respond at all and is not helpful to anyone that I can see in looking at past reviews. We think possibly they are going out of business they have not offered a refund they do not contact you its like a big black hole very very disappointing as it had the potential to be a very helpful product .

Q70%

Not user friendly. Can't get it to sync and cant find directions to explain how.

U70%

Worked on my previous computer. Reinstalled desktop application on my new computer and when attempting to enter the activation key I receive the message "can't connect to the Internet". I have been working with support for a few days (takes about 24 hours for a response) but no solution so far. It seems like support has a cheat sheet and they offer solutions that aren't relevant to the problem. Program is great when it works but diminishing returns if you need support. I am out!
